Casa Felipe Flores

Casa Felipe Flores is a hospitable and comfortable boutique hotel that is located in one of the oldest Spanish settlements in Mexico, San Cristóbal de Las Casas. It is a few blocks away from a museum, church and local market. This historic landmark features authentic Mexican and Guatemalan furniture, Talavera tile, original art work and collectibles and books representing the Maya regions of Chiapas. Each of the six rooms are uniquely named and have a fireplace and private bathroom. There are is a dining room for guests to enjoy a delicious breakfast and three courtyards and one sun terrace for them to relax in.

Located on the back of the front courtyard, this charming room has a double bed and large bath with floor-to-ceiling Mexican tiles and a view to both the front and rear courtyards. The mantle of the cozy fireplace features ceramics from the nearby pottery village of Amantenango del Valle.

This king bed room with Guatemalan furniture overlooks the rear courtyard with its lovely flowers and plants, and features a large wood carving, local artist paintings and other crafts. A corner fireplace is welcomed for cool late nights and early mornings.
