Tucked away in the highland cloud forest, Los Quetzales Lodge & Spa is ideal for those longing to retreat from the hustle and bustle of modern living. At 7260 feet above sea level (2,200 meters), the reserve has the highest lodging facilities in the country, and lies inside the primary cloud forest of Volcan Baru National Park, which was established in 1976. The Los Quetzales Lodge is built along a river in the picturesque agricultural town of Guadalupe. The spacious rooms feature all the mandatory conveniences such as private bath, hot water, room service, telephone service, etc. The wooden suites are spacious and have fireplaces and kitchenettes.
Los Quetzales Lodge & Spa is one of the only eco-vacation resorts in Panama or Costa Rica that offers overnight accommodations inside a national park. Los Quetzales Ecolodge is located in Guadalupe, 70 km. from David, Panama, one and a half hours by car or taxi and two and a half hours on bus.

The food is a combination of local ingredients with foreign technique and the dishes are like nothing you will have ever tasted before- Crepes de maiz with salsa, coconut lentil curry soup, bread as if it were right out of a boulangerie in France! The mission of our restaurant is to provide you with the most nutritious food possible while taking good care of the environment.
Spend a half day enjoying a complete 3 hour scrub, mud wrap and massage, rejuvenate your feet after a full day of walking with a 30 min foot reflexology, or choose a facial to rehydrate your skin after three days in the sun in Bocas del Toro. Complement your experience with an hour sauna and aromatherapy (orange or eucalyptus), jacuzzi or hot tub!
