Dad Ibe Island Lodge is a small & friendly lodge built in a little island of Kuna Yala or San Blas Islands owned and operated by a Kuna Family. There are no stuffy rules, or inflexible timings. So leave your watch in your room, kick off your shoes, and enjoy the warm white sand and the clear blue water. In the lodge you will take off your shoes, relax and take a meal listening to the sea sounds and learn more about the indigenous culture that reign in the “Comarca" and Caribbean islands of the Kuna Indians in Panama. Dad Ibe Island Lodge consists of 3 Bungalows/ Huts structures made out of wood and covered with thatch. Dad Ibe is reflective of native design: rustic, authentic and comfortable.
Dad Ibe Lodge is located on a private Island with the same name. Located close to Ailigandi community, district number 2 and 10 minutes from the airport of Achutupu on Air Panamá . Once you arrive to the Airstrip, hotel personnel will be there waiting for you. This private island is located at approximately 50 minute flight distance from Panama City, in the Republic of Panama. The travel to the lodge takes about 10 to 15 minutes by boat. Built in the center area of San Blas, the hotel offers an unsurpassed view of the Caribbean Sea from all the sides of the Island and also a view of Panama’s Caribbean Mainland and Mountains.
Dad Ibe Island Lodge is composed of 3 Bungalows/ Huts structures made out of wood and covered with thatch. All huts are built with typical materials of the zone, so it is a sustainable accomodation and developed to minimize the environmental impact. Al 3 huts have private bathrooms and showers, water is provided 24 hours in the bathrooms and showers (Please note that the water used in the lodge comes from the river located nearby (To cook food, water bottles are used). Each hut is equipped with 2 beds, bathrooms, hammock and a lamp. Each bathroom is equipped with sink, shower, toilet, toilet paper, soap and towel, safety box. Includes full board, 2 daily tours, transfer airstrip-hotel-airstrip, Comarca taxes. The lodge does not include snorkeling equipment.
Dad Ibe Lodge Restaurant its located over the water with a gorgeous view of Caribbean Sea, the mountains and others islands surrounding Dad Ibe Lodge. Dad Ibe Restaurant offers a variety of both local and tropical food and beverages. The kitchen staff offers a healthy variety of food. If the guests have vegetarian preferences, the staff is ready to offer vegetarian food. The food is home style with seafood, chicken & meat.
Swimming at the Ogobwili beaches,open sea fishing by motorcoach, kuna dance show, birds and wild flora, river and burial sites.
