Yoga Niketan Trust was founded by Swami Yogeshwaranand Paramahans. He was the master of Raj Yoga and he is the only Indian so far who has been granted Honorary Presidentship of International League of Yoga under UNESCO.
Yoga derives its origin from the ancient Patanjali Shastra and is an invaluable source of knowledge, that brings about the perfect blend of physical health and spirituality, which our ancestors have left behind for us. The Yoga Cult brings a fresh spring of life for the ailing people, who travel here and there, knocking the doctor’s door and worshipping every god and goddess that inspires them, without much result. Yoga proves to be the last resort for the people suffering from fatal diseases, chronic illness, mental imbalance and neurological disorders. A steady practice gives them respite from their pangs. Much like the temples of the various Gods and Goddesses in Rishikesh, the Yoga Ashrams also seem to attract people, for their life giving capacity. These health homes bring in a fresh hope of survival in the hearts of people, and they start leading a normal and healthy life, henceforth.
The accommodation is very basic but neat and clean one with attached bathroom. Guest can go out to have meals but are NOT allowed to bring from outside in the Ashram.
