Safari Narayani Lodge is a spectacular year round property offering a perfect get- away. Located on a bluff overlooking the Rapti River and the National Park beyond, Safari Narayani Lodge is an ideal getaway for those seeking solace from the humdrum of 21st century. There are 10 Elephants to take you through Asia's premier National Park in search of Tigers, Leopards, Rhinos, Sloth Bears and other denizens of the jungle. The Ethnically inspired "Tharu Ghar' is a community center for intermingling with fellow travelers. The Dining Hall, Bar, Fireplace and Viewing Deck/Partio are here. The Narayani Safari Lodge (12 rooms) was built in 1988. Both are located on the periphery of the royal Chitwan National Park, 150km from Kathmandu in Nepal. The park covers 932 km2 of the subtropical lowlands of the south central Himalayas and was listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage site in 1992.
Hotel Safari Narayani Lodge is situated at Bharatpur, Chitwan, this resort hotel boasts of a swimming pool and a sprawling garden for your indulgence. You have a choice of deluxe Villa styled rooms or standard to chose from, all with private bathrooms and air-conditioning. Other facilities includes a restaurant serving local, Indian, Continental and Chinese cuisine and a Bar serving local cocktails.
The accommodation at Hotel Safari Narayani Lodge is in timber-framed bungalows having private bathrooms providing modern toilet amenities. To blend with the environment, lighting is by kerosene lanterns which we place outside your rooms at sundown. The main building with the dining room and bar and the pathway to the rooms are lighted by electric bulbs, and the power comes from a generator.
The Resort restaurant offers both Nepalese, Continental, Indian and Chinese cuisine, hygienically prepared with concern for your health. The bar offers a wide variety of imported and local liquors, beers, soft drinks and exotic cocktails.
Elephants take you through Asia's premier National Park in search of Tiger, Leopards, Rhinos, Sloth Bears and other denizens of the jungle. Ride a canoe to explore the aquatic life of the Park or take a walk on the wild side travelling through the jungle with an experienced naturalist and animal tracer !
