Arabian Oryx Camp is located in the heart of the Sharqiya Sands of Oman’s Empty Quarter. Today, from humble beginnings, the Arabian Oryx Camp has grown into an efficiently managed camp that expertly balances modern and traditional elements. Guests stay in one of 37 air-conditioned cabins equipped with modern bathroom facilities. They may dine in their cabin or with other guests in a large covered dining area. Sumptuous food is prepared in traditional ways, for example, baked in the sand or cooked over a camp fire. As night falls, visitors can enjoy traditional entertainment or simply star gaze the night away.
Arabian Oryx Camp is located 180 Km south east of Muscat. It provides guests with an authentic Beduoin experience in spectacular desert surroundings.
Cabins are comfortable air-conditioned accommodations equipped with modern bathroom facilities. Each cabin is equipped with air-conditioning, hot and cold water, flush toilets and a shower. Towels and linen are provided. There are 34 cabins available for double occupancy, 1 cabin for four people and 2 cabins for six people. On request, an extra bed is available for guests travelling with children.
The dining area features modern seating. Breakfast and dinner are included in the room rate and are served in the dining area.
The campfire is surrounded by comfortable traditional low level seating.
