Casa Colombo is a 12 suite Retro-chic hotel that blends a contemporary designer style with the charms of a magnificent 200 year old Moorish mansion. Built by one of the wealthiest Indian trading families at the time, the mansion is adorned with acres of Italian and Indian mosaic floors, carved arches, molded ceilings and Moorish styled balconies, and is one of the few remaining treasures of its era. A significant part of creating this hotel involved restoring the building back to its former grandeur. Located in Bambalapitiya in Colombo 4, it is in the heart of Colombo’s business district, however as it is neatly cosseted away from the busy Galle road by its own cul de sac, it is a gated and very private hotel.
Casa Colombo is just a 45 minute drive away from the Bandaranayake International airport. Colombo is the perfect transit city as it is a convenient gateway between the north and the south of the island Adventures to exciting destinations such as the ancient kingdom of Kandy or the colonial Galle fort are an easy 3 hour drive from Colombo. Alternatively, there is the option of renting a helicopter to experience the beauty of sri lanka from an aerial picturesque perspective. You can fly to any part of the Island in less than an hour. From the fort railway station you can board an authentic British colonial train and travel along the coastline or up through the centre of the Island and drink in the breathtaking scenery of the golden beaches or the lush greenery of the tea plantations in the cooler climes of the Hills.

HVN, the converted grand hall of the mansion, is a stylish restaurant with gold carved ceilings, an antique fan that spans 18 feet, organza glass tables and a fresco of richis meditating in the clouds. The menu features an eclectic fusion of local Cuisine and Flavors prepared by renowned chefs, The food and atmosphere is nothing less than heavenly.
ZAZA Bar, surrounded by glass walls and a magnificent glass ceiling, gives the impression of being in a glass cube next to swirling water with a wonderful view of Casa Colombo's ornate exterior and the starry skies. The ZAZA Bar by day serves a range of premium blended Ceylon tea, chose your preferred blend and have us create a classic Tea mock tail while you bask in a one of a kind designer tea bar. The ZAZA Bar by night will be transformed into an Uber Bar lounge which will serve a wide variety of international liquors, fine wines and several of their signature cocktails, prepared by a skilled bar team.
T Republic, located on the lawn facing the front façade of the mansion, is yet another airy outdoor venue from which to choose to dine in.

The Pink Pool has 8 glass sun beds, 3 canopied day beds and chrome elephants wading the shallow pool. This space is exclusively only for in-house guests. The day beds come complete with two music selectors and headphones and a telephone for each. Probably the first Pink Pool in the world, the poolside is a delight for the senses.
A library is available for the guests to relax while reading a good book.
