Day 1: Vienna
Take a private airport transfer in Vienna with a private vehicle and driver.
A welcome package with your vouchers, a city map, train tickets (if relevant) and any other touristic information that you may find useful will be waiting for you upon your arrival at your first hotel on your trip.

Day 2: Vienna
Spend an enjoyable 4 hours exploring the city of Vienna today on a private tour which will provide an overall impression of the most significant sights of Vienna. Along the Ringstrasse admire numerous magnificent buildings, such as the MAK, the State Opera House, the Museum of Fine Arts and the Natural History Museum, the cultural district the Museums Quartier, the former Habsburg winter residence, the Hofburg, the Parliament, the City Hall and the Burgtheater. The highlight of the tour will be a visit of the showrooms of Schönbrunn Palace, the former summer residence of the Habsburg family. The MAK shows applied and contemporary art in temporary exhibitions as well as in its unique permanent and study collections. On the way back to the opera pass by the Belvedere Palace, the former summer residence of Prince Eugene. The tour takes 3 hours and includes the entrance fee to the Schonbrunn Palace.
Enjoy a wonderful concert with Mozart's music. The Mozart Orchestra plays in Vienna concerts with internationally renowned singers and soloists - all in magnificent historical costumes and wigs and creates a special atmosphere in Vienna's largest and most famous Concert halls, such as the State Opera, Musikverein Golden Hall, Hofburg and Konzerthaus. Melk Abbey
Day 3: Vienna
On this excursion, you discover the charm of a world renowned cultural landscape. Experience the baroque display of power and glory to be found in the monasteries of Göttweig and Melk, which stand as guardians at either end of the Danube Valley. Enjoy Dürnstein with its mix of medieval flair and baroque fashion of Hieronymus Uebelbacher. Follow us on to Weissenkirchen, where an ancient fortified church awaits you. Experience romantic Schwallenbach, before going back in time to the origins of man in Willendorf, where a hand-sized Venus, the world wide acknowledged symbol of fertility, was found. This tour may offer an abundance of different impressions, but the drive back along the blue Danube with relax you again and this day offers you an unforgettable insight into the richness of Austrian history. The Eagles Nest in the Bavarian Alps
Day 5: Salzburg
In the Bavarian Alps above the Obersalzberg stands the former mountain residence of Hitler. It offers magnificent views across the snowcapped peaks of the surrounding mountains. Passing the Castle Hellbrunn, through Anif you will arrive at the German border. Driving along the Königseeache, through the lovely valley and picturesque farmland to Unterau we start our ascent to the Obersalzberg. Journey continues down the Königsee or Echo Lake. On the way back stop in Berchtesgaden. Please note if you wish to visit the Eagle's Nest then please ask to include this as part of the full day 8 hour tour.

St. Gilgen, Lake District
Day 6: Salzburg
Experience the breathtaking beauty of one of Austria's most beautiful regions, the lake district just beyond the gates of Salzburg. Admire the impressive hunting Castle Fuschl, today a luxury hotel, where the Prince Archbishops spent many seasons. Visit the famous winged Gothic in St. Wolfgang. Continue by boat to St. Gilgen on the other side of Lake St. Wolfgang. Visit St. Gilgen, where Mozart's mother was born. Passing Castle Hüttenstein we continue our tour along the Mondsee.

VISA/PASSPORT
Austria is a party to the Schengen Agreement. As such, US and Canadian citizens may enter for up to 90 days for tourist or business purposes without a visa. The passport should be valid for at least three months beyond the period of stay.

- Your deposit is due immediately on booking (30% of program price, minimum $350). The balance is due 90 days prior to departure.
- Cancellations of confirmed bookings 90 days or more prior to departure will receive full refund minus a $350 (per person) administrative fee and any non-refundable paid fees (e.g. non-refundable airfare, cruise or hotel deposits). 60-89 days will be subject to loss of 30% of program price. 30-59 days will be subject to loss of 50% of program price. 29 days or less will be subject to loss of 100% of program price.

- Cost increases in currency exchange, government fees, taxes, surcharges or hotel/lodge tariff increases between quote date and start date are payable by the client. Availability cannot be guaranteed until booked.
