Day 1: Vienna
Take a private airport transfer in Vienna with a private vehicle and driver.
A welcome package with your vouchers, a city map, train tickets (if relevant) and any other touristic information that you may find useful will be waiting for you upon your arrival at your first hotel on your trip.

Day 2: Vienna
Spend an enjoyable 4 hours exploring the city of Vienna today on a private tour which will provide an overall impression of the most significant sights of Vienna. Along the Ringstrasse admire numerous magnificent buildings, such as the MAK, the State Opera House, the Museum of Fine Arts and the Natural History Museum, the cultural district the Museums Quartier, the former Habsburg winter residence, the Hofburg, the Parliament, the City Hall and the Burgtheater. The highlight of the tour will be a visit of the showrooms of Schönbrunn Palace, the former summer residence of the Habsburg family. The MAK shows applied and contemporary art in temporary exhibitions as well as in its unique permanent and study collections. On the way back to the opera pass by the Belvedere Palace, the former summer residence of Prince Eugene. The tour takes 3 hours and includes the entrance fee to the Schonbrunn Palace.

Day 3: Vienna
Sleep in this morning and relax at your hotel.
Enjoy Vienna from its best side, for it seems as if the Ringstrasse was built purely as a theatrical backdrop to the imperial splendour! Come with us, past the beautiful illuminated buildings to the Vienna Prater (Vienna’s amusement-park) with the famous Giant Ferris Wheel. Afterwards, enjoy the fascination of the illuminated city from above on the Kahlenberg hill. Finish the evening at a wine tavern in Grinzing, where you can be assured of the very best of traditional Viennese hospitality. Enjoy your dinner (incl in the tour cost).

Day 4: Vienna - Salzburg

Toboggan runs
Day 5: Salzburg
Spend part of today tobogganing in Abtenau and enjoy some pure Winter pleasure! The sled equipment can be rented directly from the mountain station from where you hop on the cabintrain to the station at the top of the mountain where there is a nice retreat in the Karkogel hut. The toboggan run was built especifically for sledding and therefore is always an ideal slope. The toboggan course is illuminated at night, so evening activity is also possible. The toboggan course ends at the mountain station's outdoor bar where you can relax and enjoy the vistas and the ambiance of the ski hill. (includes transportation to and from Salzburg).

Faistenau
Day 6: Salzburg
A unique opportunity to experience the Winter Wonderland in Salzburg is taking a half day excursion to the enchanting village of Faistenau. From here, let a sleigh glide you through a Winter paradise. Snuggle up under warm blankets and marvel at the picturesque scenery. After the sleigh ride (approx. 1hr) stop for a warm drink at a local bar. Warm clothing, gloves, and warm shoes are essenial for this tour.

VISA/PASSPORT
Austria is a party to the Schengen Agreement. As such, US and Canadian citizens may enter for up to 90 days for tourist or business purposes without a visa. The passport should be valid for at least three months beyond the period of stay.

- Your deposit is due immediately on booking (30% of program price, minimum $350). The balance is due 90 days prior to departure.
- Cancellations of confirmed bookings 90 days or more prior to departure will receive full refund minus a $350 (per person) administrative fee and any non-refundable paid fees (e.g. non-refundable airfare, cruise or hotel deposits). 60-89 days will be subject to loss of 30% of program price. 30-59 days will be subject to loss of 50% of program price. 29 days or less will be subject to loss of 100% of program price.

- Cost increases in currency exchange, government fees, taxes, surcharges or hotel/lodge tariff increases between quote date and start date are payable by the client. Availability cannot be guaranteed until booked.
