Radisson Blu Palais Hotel (5*) is located in the heart of Vienna, opposite the Stadtpark on the famous Ringstrasse. Just a short walk from all the city's major atttractions, shops and restaurants, the hotel is the ideal place to enjoy Vienna from. The hotel consists of two faithfully restored palaces, the Palais Henckel von Donnersmarck and the Palais Leitenberger that were built in 1872. The rooms are designed and furnished to evoke the building's former purpose as an aristocratic residence. The gourmet restaurant “Le Siècle”, the Bar Belami and the Palais Café offer culinary delights, while the “Vendome Spa” offers relaxation and well-being with exquisite massages and unique floatation tanks. Access to the John Harris Fitness Centre with sun terrace is free of charge.
Two 19th-century palaces have been connected to form this hotel across from Vienna's Stadtpark. Its rich past includes hosting royalty and being a piano factory and dancing school. These days, however, the Radisson often buzzes with conference-goers and leisure travelers. The lobby, in an interior courtyard, has a glass roof and trees hung with fairy lights, and its warm yellow walls and mismatched sofas provide a welcoming atmosphere. Restaurant Le Siècle is situated on the 2nd floor of the hotel and offers a breathtaking view over the Stadtpark. A delectable choice of international and traditional dishes, created by their talented chefs, promises to offer an unforgettable dining experience. Dining options in the hotel also include the Palais Café in the conservatory and the Belami Bar, offering excellent drinks, a pleasant atmosphere and stylish piano music.
This hotel has 247 guestrooms, all of which have Biedemeyer furnishings. Rooms are decorated in either candy pinks and greens, or in pale greens and olives. Wooden headboards complement bedspreads in pink and green floral patterns or deep green with a grapevine motif. Two armchairs are pink with highlights of green wood or pale green satin stripes. Period desks have complimentary Internet access. Walls are hung with watercolors of 19th-century Vienna. Bathrooms have a green marble sink, an adjustable-height showers over the tub and heated floors.
Palais Café - Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks are served beneath the café's glassed roof, in one of the hotel's inner courtyards. Dishes include Viennese and Asian specialties, served to guests surrounded by fig trees and sitting on curved banquettes upholstered in vine-covered fabric.
The hotel's John Harris fitness center includes cardio machines and free weights, with a trainer available by appointment. The fitness center opens to a roof-top sunbathing terrace. On the ground floor of the hotel, the Vendome flotarium has Europe's only salt-water flotation tank and an Ayurvedic massage service.
