Dubrovnik
Located on the extreme southern tip of Croatia, the ancient walled city of Dubrovnik is one of the hottest new destinations in the Adriatic. The prosperity of the city has always been a product of their rich maritime trade. In the Middle Ages, Dubrovnik was known as the Republic of Ragusa. It quickly became the only eastern Adriatic city-state to rival Venice. Supported by its wealth and skilled diplomacy, the city achieved a remarkable level of development, particularly during the 15th and 16th centuries. Explore the region with an expert guide and private driver & vehicle. Discover the historic old city, visit Cavtat and spend a day in nearby Montenegro and Kotor. Combine the best lodging and sights and give yourself the freedom to tour all day, with the option to have your guide start and finish as late as you like.
Private touring means you run the itinerary - it doesn't run you. Relax with 24/7 support from the Kensington team.

Day 2: Dubrovnik
Meet your local guide for a private 3 hour walking tour of Dubrovnik, one of the most beautiful stone-built cities in the world. As one of UNESCO World Heritage Sites, Dubrovnik owes its special charm to the historic monuments which testify to its rich history. While strolling with your guide down Stradun, the main street, you will get to stop and visit the Franciscan monastery of the “Order of Friars Minors” that preserves one of the three oldest pharmacies in Europe.
Continue down to Orlando Column and the Sponza Palace and visit the Church of St. Blasius, the patron-saint of the town. Discover Rector’s Palace, and the Cathedral of the Virgin Mary and its treasury.
The rest of the afternoon is at your leisure to explore this stunning town on your own. We recommend you to take a walk along the city walls (2500m around the old town), visit one of the numerous museums or take a funicular ride to the top of the Srđ hill. Return transfers to/from your hotel are included as well as entrance fees to Franciscan Monastery, Rectors Palace and Cathedral.
Accommodation: Bellevue (4*)
Cavtat
Day 3: Dubrovnik
This morning meet your guide and driver in the hotel lobby for a private tour of the Dubrovnik Hinterland – the region of Konavle. Your first destination is the ancient Mediterranean town of Cavtat. After a 7th century invasion which destroyed the town, refugees from the Cavtat formed another settlement, Dubrovnik, cementing a permanent link between Dubrovnik and Cavtat. Your guide will take you for a stroll through this picturesque little town and up to the top of the hill where you will discover the extraordinary Mausoleum of Račić Family. After the walk, you will continue your exploration of the traditional countryside of Konavle. In the village of Čilipi, the local family Novaković will welcome you at their humble estate that has a small ethno museum presenting Konavle region history, a tavern with a wine cellar and a variety of agricultural structures. While you enjoy their hospitality, they will serve a traditional lunch (included). After the lunch, your guide and driver will take you back to Dubrovnik.
Accommodation: Bellevue (4*)
Kotor
Day 4: Dubrovnik
Depart on a private tour to the Montenegro border, visiting the charming coastal towns of Budva and Kotor. The coastal area around Budva, called the Budvanska rivijera, is the centre of Montenegro's tourism, and is well known for its sandy beaches, diverse nightlife, and beautiful examples of Mediterranean architecture. Kotor, located along one of Montenegro’s most beautiful bays and the southernmost fjord in Europe, is a city of traders and famous sailors, with plenty of stories to tell. The Old City of Kotor is a well preserved urbanisation typical of the Middle Ages, built between the 12th and 14th century. Medieval architecture and numerous monuments of cultural heritage have made Kotor an UNESCO listed "World Natural and Historical Heritage Site". Entrance fees to the Cathedral and Old Town are included.
