Southampton is the largest city in the ceremonial county of Hampshire, on the south coast of England, and is sited around 100 km south-west of London. It is a major port and is the closest city to the New Forest. Notable sights include the long standing medieval walls, the second longest medieval walls in England. There are a number of museums such as Tudor House, The Maritime Museum and Solent Sky, which focuses on aviation.
