Day 1: Munich
Meet your driver for a private transfer between the airport and your accommodation in Munich.

NH Deutscher Kaiser (4*) hotel is located very central in the heart of Munich. The main railway station (0,2km), the underground, rapid trains and trams on the doorstep, the city centre is 500m and the motorway is 3km. The room facilities include a safety deposit box, smoke detectors, work desk, minibar, iron and ironing board, and air-conditioning.

Day 2: Munich
Enjoy a city tour with private vehicle and guide. Start your tour with the Old town. Visit Olympiaturm and enjoy the landscape. The view of Munich, its surroundings and, if the weather is good, the Alps from the Salzkammergut to the Allgaeu Alps is just as unique as the Olympic tower itself. On April 5, 2005 the Olympic tower has even grown by 1.75 meters. A Russian specialist helicopter under Swiss flag has been used to lift off the antenna’s top end and put up a new antenna piece by piece, which from now on will provide six million TV viewers in Munich and the south of Bavaria with digital TV broadcasting. The new height of the Olympic tower is now 291.28 meters. Up here on one of the highest towers in Europe you can get away from the bustle of the city. Take a deep breath, forget everything and then relax. From the viewing platforms of the tower at a height of 190 metres, the shiny silver tent roof silhouette of the Olympic park is a brilliant example of exceptional architecture. Entrance fees are included.

Continue your tour with BMW Museum and its distinctive architecture in the shape of a futuristic silver bowl, which is among the most attractive museums in Munich. Entrance fees are included in the tour cost.

Day 3: Munich - Nuremberg - Nuremberg, Germany - Danube Cruise
A transfer between the Munich train station and your accommodation with a private vehicle and driver is provided.

Day 4: Nuremberg, Germany - Danube Cruise
Enjoy scenic cruising through the Main-Danube Canal and relax during a leisurely cruise through the beautiful Altmuhl Valley. Later on, you have a choice of two different excursions in Nuremberg. On one tour, you will explore the medieval history of Nuremberg, and see the 900-year-old ramparts that surround the city, the Imperial Castle and Old Town Hall. The other tour will focus on Nuremberg during World War II as the center of the Third Reich. Visit the infamous Zeppelin field used to hold rallies and the Justice Palace where the War Crimes Tribunal sat in 1946 (when available).

Day 5: Regensburg, Germany - Danube Cruise
This morning’s scenic cruising takes you through the final stretch of the Main-Danube Canal to arrive in magnificent Regensburg, one of Germany’s best preserved medieval cities. A guided tour will show you the city’s architectural highlights, including the Old Town Hall and the Porta Praetoria - gates to an ancient Roman fort which was built in 179 AD.
Your next tour is a bike ride to Walhalla, where you will visit the Walhalla Temple, effectively serving as a hall of fame which honors distinguished Germans throughout history.
Optional:
Should you decide to partake, you may join an excursion to beautiful Weltenburg Abbey, the oldest monastery in Bavaria, and see the scenic Danube Gorge (seasonal).

Day 6: Passau, Germany - Danube Cruise
A walking tour of Passau will take you along the cobblestone streets of Old Town where you will see the city fortifications and St. Stephan’s Cathedral, home to the largest cathedral organ in the world. Located where the rivers Inn and Ilz join the Danube, this 2,000-year-old city is noted for its Gothic and Italian baroque architecture.
Optional:
Should you decide to partake, you may join an excursion to Salzburg, where you will take a walking tour of the historic center, famous as the setting for the “Sound of Music” and as the birthplace of Mozart. The tour includes a visit to the Mirabell Gardens, Salzburg Cathedral, Mozart’s Square, and much more.

Day 7: Melk, Austria - Vienna, Austria - Danube Cruise
In Melk, a guided tour will take you to the city’s magnificent 11th century Benedictine abbey, Melk Abbey, one of Europe’s largest Baroque monasteries. You'll find this majestic structure perched on a rocky outcrop overlooking the Danube and beautiful Wachau valley.

During today's city tour of Vienna, you will see the impressive Vienna Opera House, the majestic Ringstrasse with it's grand architectural surrounds, and the historic St. Stephen’s Cathedral. Ranked as one of the most livable cities in the world, this tour will help you discover part of what makes Vienna so special.

Should you decide to partake, you may join a tour to Schönbrunn Palace, a former imperial 1,400-room Rococo summer residence in Vienna. The Palace and Gardens have been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and remains one of the primary tourist attractions in Vienna.

Day 9: Budapest, Hungary - Danube Cruise
Embark on a sightseeing tour which takes you to historic Buda Castle from where you can enjoy a splendid view of the twin cities of Buda and Pest spread over both banks of the River. Your tour also features the distinctive Fisherman’s Bastion, the Royal Palace, St. Stephen’s Basilica, the famous Heroes’ Square and much more.
Optional:
Should you decide to partake, you may join an excursion taking you back to the Hungarian Revolution of 1956. This tour will offer facts and insight into what started out as a student demonstration, but then quickly spread across the country causing an uprising against the Communist regime.

After breakfast this morning you'll disembark from your cruise ship in Budapest.

Today you will visit Matthias Church and The Fishermen’s Bastion with your own private guide on a half day city tour. Located in the Buda’s Castle District, Matthias Church was originally built in 1015. Officially named ‘the Church of Our Lady’ the building is commonly known by the name 'Matthias Church', which refers to the Hungarian King Matthias Corvinus. The Fishermen’s Bastion was built between 1895 and 1902 and features impressive towers, colonnades and embrasures. Take the opportunity to admire and photograph the magnificent view from one of its towers overlooking the city and the Danube. The entrance fees to Matthias Church and the Fisherman's Bastion are included in the tour price.

- Your deposit is due immediately on booking (30% of program price). The balance is due 120 days prior to departure.
- Cancellations of confirmed bookings 120 days or more after booking will receive full refund minus a $350 (per person) administrative fee and any non-refundable paid fees (e.g. non-refundable airfare, cruise or hotel deposits). 60-119 days will be subject to loss of 50% of program price. 30-59 days will be subject to loss of 75% of program price. 29 days or less will be subject to loss of 100% of program price.
