Alpenstuben Hotel (4*) is a family run hotel located right below the world famous castle Neuschwanstein. Both castles Hohenschwang au and Neuschwanstein are a short walk from the hotel. The former farm house was one of the 1st buildings in Hohenschwangau. In 1970 the old farm house was torn down and rebuilt as a small guest house and shop. They have upgraded it several times over the last 30 years. Today the Hotel Alpenstuben with its cosy guestrooms and restaurant offers a high standard. All rooms offer castle or mountain view.
Hotel facilities: restaurant, terrace, non-smoking rooms, heating, all public and private spaces non-smoking, souvenirs/gift shop, internet and wireless internet.
The rooms are comfortable and equipped with modern amenities such as: ISDN-telephone, cableTV, modern shower and balcony with a beautiful view.
Enjoy the wide varieties of Bavarian and international specialties in their à la carte restaurant. Also you can enjoy the beautiful view of the surrounding mountain area in their sunny beer garden.
In the near surroundings of their hotel you will find a wide range of possibilities to spend your leisure time. Summer: hiking, swimming, paragliding, biking, playing golf and sailing. Winter: skiing (cross country and downhill), ice skating and sledding.
