This tour gives you an opportunity to observe the striking contrasts that make Athens such a fascinating city. Our expert guides take you to see the center of the city, Constitution Square(Syntagma), the House of Parliament, the Memorial to the Unknown Soldier and the NationalLibrary .Driving down Herod Atticus street, you will see the Evzones in their picturesque uniform and the Presidential Palace .On your way to the Acropolis you will see the Hadrian's Arch , visit the Temple of Olympian Zeus and you will make a short stop at the Panathenaic Stadium where the first Olympic Games of the modern era were held in 1896. On the Acropolis visit the architectural masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens: the Propylaea , the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion and finally ' the harmony between material and spirit ', the monument that 'puts order in mind', the Parthenon.

Day 4: Mykonos
Depart from your hotel with a private vehicle and guide, and once which is a pedestrian area, you'll walk with your guide through the sea front, pass the local fish and vegetable market and have the opportunity to meet the mascot of the island, Peter the pelican. On your way to Paraportiani Church, a famous sample of Cycladic architecture and one of the most photographed spots of the Mediterranean, you'll visit the Folklore Museum which is situated in a beautiful house from the 11th century where an interesting collection of items concerning every day’s life as well as various costumes are exhibited. Continue the walk to the picturesque Alefkandra an area known as the “Little Venice” of Mykonos with the old captain houses built into the sea. The Windmills opposite Little Venice were used in the past to grind wheat, and from here you'll enjoy beautiful views over to Little Venice and the sea. Then continue to the “House of Lena” where you can see the style of furniture and personal belongings of the family. Right next door is situated the Nautical Museum with its beautiful ship models of various epochs, very interesting nautical instruments, old maps and the old light house from the North Cape of Mykonos, Armenistis. Before returning back, take a Greek ‘meze’, icluding various greek dips and olives, feta cheese & tomato, in a local taverna . Your guide will inform you about the histry of greek wines while you are tasting a variety of them as well as ouzo and retsina (included in the price ).

This afternoon you will be transferred from your hotel by coach to Athinios port, for the beginning of your shared tour, where you will board a traditional sailing boat and set sail on the Mediterranean. Along your journey there are stops at Nea and Palea Kameni and for a swim in the thermal springs. Savor Santorinian wine and live romantic music as you enjoy dinner on board, under the unique sunset in the waters of Santorini’s Caldera. You will be surrounded by the black volcanic rocks and the deep blue waters of the Aegean during this memorable experience. The experienced crew will guide you as the sun changes the views and colors of the cliffs of the island. The sails will open once again and you are back at the Athinios Port.

VISA/PASSPORT
Greece is a party to the Schengen agreement. As such, U.S. and Canadian citizens may enter Greece for up to 90 days for tourist or business purposes without a visa. The passport should be valid for at least three months beyond the period of stay.
Citizens of other countries may require a visa. Please ask your Sales Advisor. These requirements change often and therefore it is best that you check with the Embassy of Greece for the most up to date visa information.

- Your deposit is due immediately on booking (30% of program price, minimum $350). The balance is due 90 days prior to departure.
- Cancellations of confirmed bookings 90 days or more prior to departure will receive full refund minus a $350 (per person) administrative fee and any non-refundable paid fees (e.g. non-refundable airfare, cruise or hotel deposits). 60-89 days will be subject to loss of 30% of program price. 30-59 days will be subject to loss of 50% of program price. 29 days or less will be subject to loss of 100% of program price.
- Tour quotes do not include airfare to/from the trip start point unless noted on the itinerary
- Cost increases in currency exchange, government fees, taxes, surcharges or hotel/lodge tariff increases between quote date and start date are payable by the client.
- Availability cannot be guaranteed until booked. We will exercise best efforts to book hotels per the itinerary, however, in busy seasons and with client bookings made within 90 days of tour date we may be forced to offer substitutes.
