Volos Tours

Volos is a coastal port city in Thessaly situated midway on the Greek mainland, about 326 km north of Athens and 215 km south of Thessaloniki. Volos is the newest of the Greek port cities, with a remarkably large proportion of modern buildings. The city has an important waterfront which is lined with many pastry shops, cafes-bars and restaurants. From a cultural point of view there is the Volos Archaeological Museum which contains finds from the surrounding areas that ere dated from the Bronze Age to the Hellenistic period, the Municipal Gallery, housed in the Town Hall and exhibits a collection of paintings and sculptures by Modern Greek artists.
