The world of Pest coffee houses was a very significant element of the turn-of-the-century bourgeois gastronomy. Previously, guests of the Continental Hotel included artists and writers, such as the poet, Attila József. In the coffee house, they wish to evoke that era by offering Hungarian coffee specialties of the period, such as the Habos Kávé (foamy coffee), Hosszú Kávé (long coffee), Kapucíner (with whipped cream and chocolate chips), Kis Barna (little brown), and Nagy Barna (large brown).
