To the right of the main entrance, is the central section of the restaurant, which is kept with the preserved stylistic features of the former Hungária Spa and radiates an art nouveau ambience. The world of Pest coffee houses was a very significant element of the turn-of-the-century bourgeois gastronomy. Previously, guests of the Continental Hotel included artists and writers, such as the poet, Attila József. In the coffee house, they wish to evoke that era by offering Hungarian coffee specialties of the period, such as the Habos Kávé (foamy coffee), Hosszú Kávé (long coffee), Kapucíner (with whipped cream and chocolate chips), Kis Barna (little brown), and Nagy Barna (large brown).
Two internal courtyards provide a green oasis with an outdoor pool in Budapest’s city centre. Guests can spend pleasant summer evenings sitting on benches in the garden, looking up at the sky full of stars and listening to calm music.
