Day 1: Budapest

Enjoy a private airport transfer with an English speaking driver-guide waiting for you outside the customs with a sign with your name on it. Your representative will accompany you to your accommodation.

A welcome package with a city map, train tickets (if relevant), and any other touristic information that we deem you may find useful will be waiting for you upon your arrival at your first hotel on your trip.

The Hotel Corvin is a beautiful three-star hotel located close to the city center. It is situated in a quiet street in one of the capital’s fastest developing areas, surrounded by historical buildings. The hotel is approximately twelve miles from the International Airport and is within easy access to various forms of public transportation, making it easy to explore the city and its surrounding areas. The hotel offers its guests 42 spacious and comfortable guestrooms, each with elegant décor and stylish furnishings. Guests can dine on international, as well as local dishes at the on-site restaurant and enjoy a cocktail at the hotel bar. The city center is just a short stroll away.

Day 2: Budapest

Today you will walk through the city's main sites with a stop at the impressive House of Parliament (Holy Hungarian Crown) that is Hungary’s largest building. You will visit the magnificent neo-gothic House of Parliament with your English speaking guide and enjoy its splendid session room and the impressive staircase.

Day 3: Budapest - Vienna

A transfer between the train station and your hotel or city with a private vehicle and driver is provided.

Enjoy the scenic train ride from Budapest to Vienna. The trip duration averages around 3 hours.

The accommodations feature a stylish design, leaving no aspect of modern comfort for you to miss out on. Day 4: Vienna

The tour will provide an overall impression of the most significant sights of Vienna. Along the Ringstrasse admire numerous magnificent buildings, such as the MAK, the State Opera House, the Museum of Fine Arts and the Natural History Museum, the cultural district, Museums Quartier, Parliament, City Hall, and the Burgtheater. The highlight of the tour will be a visit of the showrooms of Schönbrunn Palace. In this former summer residence of the Habsburg family lived Maria Theresia. On the way back to the opera pass by the Belvedere Palace, the former summer residence of Prince Eugen. Entrance fees to Schonbrunn Palace are included.

Day 5: Vienna - Prague

Day 6: Prague

During the city shared tour, you will be given all the basic information about Golden Prague's historic monuments - the State Opera, the National Museum, Wenceslas Square, the Charles Square, Prague Castle. Walk around the Castle courtyards, where amongst other things, you will have the opportunity to see St. Vitus Cathedral. Your private guide will take you across the Vltava to the Old Town, St. Nicholas church, the Týn Cathedral and the Old Town Hall with its astronomical clock (The Prague Orloj) and apostles. The tour ends not far from the modern city centre. Departs daily.

A bus will take you from the Powder Tower to the Vltava River where a pleasure boat awaits you. You will receive a welcome aperitif, while a cold and hot buffet with a wide choice of dishes will be available. Accompanied by pleasant music, you will be taken on a three hours cruise along the Vltava, offering fantastic views of the river, lined by well-lit historic monuments. You will then be taken on a short bus tour of other romantic places in Golden Prague. The tour ends on Republic Square. Dinner is included in the tour price.

Trip Terms & Conditions

  • Your deposit is due immediately on booking (30% of program price, minimum $350). The balance is due 90 days prior to departure.
  • Cancellations of confirmed bookings 90 days or more prior to departure will receive full refund minus a $350 (per person) administrative fee and any non-refundable paid fees (e.g. non-refundable airfare, cruise or hotel deposits). 60-89 days will be subject to loss of 30% of program price. 30-59 days will be subject to loss of 50% of program price. 29 days or less will be subject to loss of 100% of program price.
  • Tour quotes do not include airfare to/from the trip start point unless noted on the itinerary
  • Cost increases in currency exchange, government fees, taxes, surcharges or hotel/lodge tariff increases between quote date and start date are payable by the client.
  • Availability cannot be guaranteed until booked. We will exercise best efforts to book hotels per the itinerary, however, in busy seasons and with client bookings made within 90 days of tour date we may be forced to offer substitutes.

    Thank you for your follow up, we both loved our time in Croatia. It’s really a beautiful place, especially the coast. Your choice of hotels was great. It was an incredible view from the Bellevue hotel in Dubrovnik and the Vestibule in Split was in the best possible location. We were able to relax in our room listening to the wonderful singers in the courtyard and its central location made it so easy to walk anywhere we wanted to see with ease.

    We just returned from a 10 day trip to Paris and Normandy. We spent three nights in Paris and then enjoyed a seven night cruise on the Seine to Normandy with AMA Waterways. The time in Paris was well spent and has piqued our interest to return for a more thorough visit. Guide Wafaa Lankey was superb in our visit to Versailles. The Seine cruise was relaxing and beautiful. So many wonderful little towns and we wished we had more time in each one to explore and enjoy.

    We traveled to Croatia and Slovenia using Kensington earlier this year which was a fantastic trip.
