Höfn is an Icelandic fishery town in the southeastern part of the country. As of 2004, the population was 1,783. Trips are offered to the nearby Vatnajökull glacier. A cultural highlight of the town is the annual Humarhátíð (lobster festival) held on the first weekend of July, though today the Humarhátíð has been described by some as a "drink'n fun festival". Höfn Airport is located nearby. Eagle Air carries passengers to and from Höfn. All flights are domestic.
