Day 1: Reykjavik
Relax on your airport transfer in Reykjavik with a private vehicle and driver. Please note that a surcharge may be post billed to you if you require a transfer after 8pm or before 7am.
A welcome package with your vouchers, a city map and any other touristic information that you may find useful will be waiting for you upon your arrival at your first hotel on your trip.
Accommodation: Bjork (3*) The Bjork (3*) is a modern hotel perfectly located a few minutes' walk from Reykjavik city centre and the main shopping street. The main bus terminal Hlemmur is very close-by as is the Kringlan shopping mall. Hotel Björk offers 55 spacious and tastefully decorated rooms, all equipped with private facilities, hair dryer, telephone, satellite TV and radio. For something to eat why not pop into the Potturinn og Pannan restaurant for a delicious selection of traditional and international cuisine prepared using the freshest of local produce.
Golden Circle by Super Jeep
Day 2: Reykjavik
Spend the day today on a shared (9-10hrs) tour as you access some of Iceland’s most famous and exciting natural wonders by Super Truck. Visit Pingvellir National Park, the world famous Geyser geothermal area and Gullfoss “the Golden Waterfall”. Next kick the action into higher gear to get even closer to Iceland’s nature and go for a snowmobiling tour on Langjoekull, Iceland’s second largest glacier. (All equipment will be provided for snowmobiling activity).

This evening your tour starts with a super jeep pickup and dinner at a lobster restaurant out in the country. An Icelandic myth and mysteries expert will accompany you on a magical drive where the secrets of Icelandic folklore with its trolls, monsters, elves and other mysterious beings of old will be revealed. On the way make a stop at a black beach for a drink of “Viking blood“ but the local snaps Black Death is the main player in this powerful drink. Light a fire and cut the old runes of the Vikings into driftwood to wish for luck and good fortune in the way of the Vikings.
After dinner the super jeep drivers will show his skills in a river fun on an off road that runs through a hot spring area close to Reykjavik. Boil some eggs in the hot springs and get our very own power stone as a souvenir. Finish your magical mystery tour next to sea in the outskirt of Reykjavik watching midnight sun and enjoying a glass of sparkling wine.

Blue Lagoon Overhead View
Day 4: Reykjavik
After being picked up from your hotel, enjoy a half day shared tour covering the city from one end to the other. Visit the Blue Lagoon, a unique natural pool of mineral rich geothermal water located in the middle of a lava field in the pure, beautiful Icelandic wilderness. At the end of the tour you will be returned to your hotel. (Entrance into the Blue Lagoon not included).

Bjarnarhöfn Shark Museum
Day 5: Reykjavik
Lush valleys and lava fields with soft moss, abundant birdlife, diverse flora, craters and salmon rivers characterize the West part of Iceland. Experience the full scenery of Snæfellsnes Peninsula and take a short cruise in the amazing Breidafjordur bay. Enter a world of thriving bird and marine life. A highlight of the boat tour is when a net is hauled in and everyone can taste the shellfish and sea-urchin roe. After reaching Stykkishólmur and enjoying the boat tour (approx 2,5 hours), we travel along the coast passing through charming fishing villages with a stop at Djupalonssandur and Arnarstapi before returning to Reykjavik.
The boat tour depends on weather and birdlife is limited during late summer months. Some walking is required on this excursion.

Hot Springs
Day 6: Reykjavik
The journey starts by exploring one of the many lava caves in the Blue Mountains just outside of Reykjavik. Next, travel to the geothermal area of the Hengill Volcano and take a hike into an area filled with hot springs and bubbling mud pools. The hike continues through a valley where you can take a relaxing bath in a warm river, so make sure to bring your swimsuit and towel along.

VISA/PASSPORT
Iceland is a party to the Schengen Agreement. As such, U.S. and Canadian citizens may enter for up to 90 days for tourist or business purposes without a visa. The passport should be valid for at least three months beyond the period of stay.
