Ranga (4*)

The Ranga Hotel (4*) was recently named one of 100 best hotels in Europe by the Sunday Times in Britain. The hotel is located in the South between Hella and Hvolsvallar. The view from the hotel is a magnificent, Hekla facing north, then the mountains to the east and northeast, to the southeast is the volcano and you can see the Ultimate islands in the South. The hotel recently joined the international hotel association "The Great Hotels of the World Premium Collection.

Deluxe

Hotel Ranga was expanded in 2007 and again in 2008 and are now 51 rooms available. Superior rooms are equipped with two beds, but they can be easily converted into double beds if you like. All rooms feature: telephone, desk and chair, minibar, radio and television with SKY. Bathrooms with bathtub and shower, hair dryer also available for use. 6 of these rooms include a Jacuzzi bathtub. The 17 deluxe rooms feature queen size double beds. Extra features in Deluxe rooms are CD and DVD players and a sofa.

Standard

Ranga Hotel (4*) Restaurants

The restaurant is romantic and has an emphasis on fresh ingredients of the finest quality, preferably from the province. It seats a total of 60 people. The theme is the Icelandic / Scandinavian, but is even a touch of frönsku ítölsku and kitchen. The hotel recommends the fish soup and for dessert the chocolate cake. The hotel offers a wide selection of wines and vínárganga.

The hotel has Hot tubs and free massages are offered to guests. The hotel location is known for its great geographical position to see the northern lights, when they appear.
