The Dyrholaey Hotel (3*) is situated in Vik in the south of Iceland. It is ideal for sightseeing in the South, to go snowmobiling on the glacier, and see the beaches and the bird life. All 55 rooms have private facilities. Hotel Dyrholaey is open all year around. It is just 9 kilometers west from the town. The hotel is a short distance from the nature phenomenon of Dyrholaey, and from the Myrdalsjokull glacier. The hotel claims to have the best view of both the glacier and the south coastline.
The hotel has 54 rooms all the rooms are designed in home like style to ensure that guest will have peaceful and sound sleep before another exhausting day. The rooms are equipped with private bathrooms, TV´s and electric kettle. Also offered is free internet access to all hotel guests.

Bird watching is a popular tourist excursion in Vik home to Iceland's most famous bird the Puffin. View them in their natural environment by visiting the the Dyrholaey Peninsula, which is just few steps from the hotel. If you want to experience a real surge of adrenaline you can go snowmobiling on a Myrdalsjökull Glacier. A farm located nearby offers boat trips around Dyrholaey. Other countless attractions such as horse ridding, hot spots, amazing waterfalls and hiking trails are waiting for you to explore them.
