Gregans Castle

More of a country Manor House than a castle per se, Gregans Castle Hotel is the ultimate luxury hideaway set within the visually enchanting and unique Burren landscape with it's myriad botanical, archaeological and cultural treasures and with breathtaking views across Galway Bay.     There are four categories of rooms, classic and superior rooms, junior and premier suites. Each room is exquisitely decorated in a relaxing country house style, with views of the surrounding landscape. Some have their own private garden area and come with a view of Galway Bay. All bedrooms have: bay, garden or mountain views; private bathrooms with shower and bathtub; bathrobes; trouser press; hairdryer; direct dial telephone; same day laundry service; complimentary mineral water; luxury toiletries; tea & coffee making facilities on request; evening bed turn down service; wireless broadband. All bedrooms are television free.

      Superior

      Superior rooms are more generous in size than classic rooms and each has a well defined seating area. Bathrooms are larger and more lavishly appointed. Each room is exquisitely decorated in a relaxing country house style, with views of the surrounding landscape. Some have their own private garden area and come with a view of Galway Bay. All bedrooms have: bay, garden or mountain views; private bathrooms with shower and bathtub; bathrobes; trouser press; hairdryer; direct dial telephone; same day laundry service; complimentary mineral water; luxury toiletries; tea & coffee making facilities on request; evening bed turn down service; wireless broadband.         Junior Suite

        These rooms are the obvious next step up from the Superior rooms with greater size and appointment being the obvious difference. They are furnished to the same high standards. All have king size beds and some are adaptable for families with children. Two of these suites have their own private garden areas and the third has a magnificant view of Galway Bay.

            Gregans is situated close to The Cliffs of Moher. The most dramatic cliffs in Europe (250 meters) and home to a myriad of wildlife, many different species of birds, dolphins and the occasional whale. Beautiful views towards the Aran Islands and Connemara. There is a long cliff side walk for those who wish to brave the brisk Atlantic breeze. Gregans work with a number of freelance massage therapists and a massage in your room can be arranged at your request.
