Standard Double Rooms – decorated to the same high standard as superior rooms and including all the same facilities, with the exception of the garden view, these rooms overlook the city. Standard rooms also vary in size, many are very spacious with two beds, and some are more intimate with one queen bed. All have bathrooms with shower and bathtubs and some have additional features e.g. larger/sunken bathtubs, original fireplaces, high-corniced ceilings, etc. In Room Facilities include:Queen Sized Bed, Multi Channel HD TV, Iron/Ironing Board (On request), Hair Dryer, Tea/Coffee Facilities, Telephone, Safe, Complimentary, WIFI access, Complimentary Mineral Water.
Superior rooms are very spacious bedrooms with large bathrooms – all with shower and bathtub. All have large bow windows with lovely views of the walled Georgian garden and Kilkenny Castle. All Superior family rooms contain one queen bed and two single beds.
Superior Suite consists of a private hallway, a very spacious bedroom and a large bathroom with seperate shower and big bathtub. It has a large bow window with lovely views of the walled Georgian garden and Kilkenny Castle. The room contains one queen bed and one single bed, lounge chairs and coffee table. Unique features include an original fireplace and little stairway from the private enterecne hall to the bathroom.
Each morning, breakfast is served in the beautifully refurbished stables of Kilkenny Castle, now home to the Kilkenny Design Centre. The Castle stables and courtyard are located just a short stroll through the garden of Butler House. Here you will enjoy an extensive buffet of the finest Irish and International cuisine – choose from a range of selected hot and cold foods, accompanied by delicious artisan breads, baked freshly every morning.
