Day 1: Rome
For your added comfort, we will have Meet & Greet assistance for you upon your arrival. A representative authorised to enter the customs area will be waiting for you at the luggage belt in order to assist. Discover some of the main monuments of the Eternal City in the romantic atmosphere of the evening on a 3hr shared tour including dinner. Some of the sights you pass by include The Fountain of the Nayads, The Exhibition Palace, Piazza Venezia and the Capitoline Hill. Glimpse the Imperial Roman Age as you drive by and admire the Roman Forum, the Colosseum, the Arch of Constantine and the Circus Maximus. Leap into the Papal era when, driving by coach along the banks of the Tiber, you see the Jewish Quarter and the imposing Castel Sant’Angelo closeby that heralds your approach to St. Peter’s. You can also admire the Piazza del Popolo and the famous Via Veneto symbol of “la dolce vita” in Rome. We stop at the Trevi Fountain so that you can keep up the tradition of throwing coins into the fountain. After an interesting panoramic tour of the city, you will be left in a local restaurant for a dinner (drinks included). (Includes hotel pick up – since there will be various pick ups within the city centre, you will be given a pick up time range. Please be in the hotel lobby/reception for this time. At the end of the tour, there will be a city centre drop off). Spend the day on a shared tour in Rome. After being picked up from your centrally located hotel, you will pass by the Villa Borghese park, Porta Flaminia and cross over the Tiber river before reaching the Vatican Museum. During the visit you can admire the Hall of the Greek Cross, the Statue Gallery, the interesting cartographic study in the Geographical Maps Gallery, the Raphael Rooms, entirely frescoed by the Master and, above all, the Sistine Chapel. This is where Popes are elected and where you will find the Genesis and Last Judgement works by Michelangelo which have been recently restored. Please note that during high season there may be queues to enter the museums. Enjoy lunch (1 glass of wine included, desert not included) before spending the afternoon exploring some of the most fascinating sights of the city in the company of an English speaking guide on board an air-conditioned coach. Crossing Piazza della Repubblica with the Najadi’s Fountain, you will continue along Via Nazionale till Piazza Venezia, heart of the city with the Monument to Victor Emanuel II also called "Vittoriano" – Continue by bus to the Colosseum and the surrounding Arches of Costantine and Tirus and have a walk into the Roman Forum, the most important archeological area in the world, and possibly the Capitol Square. Proceed to Theatre Marcello to reach St. Paul’s Outside the walls by coach where you will enjoy a visit. At the end of the shared tour you will be brought back to your hotel.

This exciting guided walking tour starts from the peculiar Central Market zone, characterised by its workshops and multicolored stands. Located in this area are the Medici Chapels, and the Basilica di S. Lorenzo, which is the church of the famous Medici family. A short stroll from the market-place is the Piazza del Duomo, where you can admire the picturesque Cathedral from both the interior and exterior. This Cathedral is known for its dome created by Brunelleschi, its bell tower designed by Giotta, and its Paradise Door on the Saint John Baptistery. The tour continues by visiting the medieval quarters where Dante Alighieri and Beatrice once lived. Moving further through the city you will find the Palazzo del Bargello. Not to far from there you will arrive at the Piazza della Signoria, a great "open-air sculpture museum", which overlooks the imposing Palazzo Vecchio. Within the Palazzo Vecchio you will find one of the world most important museums in the world, the Uffizi Gallery. You would then proceed to the Mercato della Paglia (straw market), where the famous Piglet Fountain is located. Moving along, you will travel along the street that leads you to Ponte Vecchio, also known as the "jewel-bridge." After snapping some photos along this famous bridge, you will arrive at the wonderful Pitti Palace where this tour ends.
Florence is a great city for browsing and shopping. The street for antiques is Via Maggio: some of the furnishings and objects d'art here are from the 16th century. Florence's Fifth Avenue is Via dei Tornabuoni, the place to head for the best quality leather goods, for the best clothing boutiques, and for stylish but costly shoes. Here you'll find everyone from Armani, Gucci, Versace, Coveri, to Ferragamo. Besides shops, Florence is rich in open-air markets. The Market of San Lorenzo, situated in the center of the city, is worth checking out. The New Market, where one can acquire leather goods and souvenirs, is sheltered under the sixteenth-century Loggia del Porcellino. At the Flea Market, near Piazza Santa Croce, where you may able to make good deals on small antique items.

On the shared optional tour, your coach will take you to “Hora” the island’s capital where you will enjoy a walking tour in the narrow cobbled streets of the town, passing by chic boutiques, elegant nightclubs and white–washed houses until reaching Alefkandra. Alefkandra is a charming corner of Hora, known also as the “Venice” of Mykonos. The houses are built on the sea, with wooden balconies that evoke Venice. These were built from the mid. 18th century onward and were homes of wealthy merchants and captains. At Louis Theoxenia Hotel, you will enjoy the atmosphere while drinking your refreshment accompanied by Greek ‘meze’. Enjoy a shared tour to the Islands Volcano, the Hot Springs and Thirassia. Start your tour with a drive to Athinios for a boat cruise. The first stop is to the isle of Nea Kameni where you have the opportunity to climb to the crater top which will take around one hour and a half. Your next stop will be to the famous Hot Springs, considered to have healing powers. Continue your tour with Thirassia Island, where you have a few hours at your leisure. Finally, the boat sails along the coast and ends its journey at the port of Athinios, where buses are waiting to take you back to your hotel.

- Your deposit is due immediately on booking (30% of program price, minimum $350). The balance is due 90 days prior to departure.
- Cancellations of confirmed bookings 90 days or more prior to departure will receive full refund minus a $350 (per person) administrative fee and any non-refundable paid fees (e.g. non-refundable airfare, cruise or hotel deposits). 60-89 days will be subject to loss of 30% of program price. 30-59 days will be subject to loss of 50% of program price. 29 days or less will be subject to loss of 100% of program price.
- Tour quotes do not include airfare to/from the trip start point unless noted on the itinerary
- Cost increases in currency exchange, government fees, taxes, surcharges or hotel/lodge tariff increases between quote date and start date are payable by the client.
- Availability cannot be guaranteed until booked. We will exercise best efforts to book hotels per the itinerary, however, in busy seasons and with client bookings made within 90 days of tour date we may be forced to offer substitutes.

- Living Standards and practices at destination may differ from those in North America with respect to provisions of utilities, services and accommodation.
