Day 1: Milan

For your added comfort, we will have an English speaking assistant waiting for you outside the customs with a sign with your name on it. Your representative will help you to co-ordinate meeting up with your private driver and accompany you to your accommodation.

A welcome package with a city map, train tickets (if relevant), and any other touristic information that we deem you may find useful will be waiting for you upon your arrival at your first hotel on your trip.

Day 2: Milan

Enjoy an exciting private, guided tour of the great monuments of Milan, such as the Cathedral, Sforzesco Castle, La Scala Opera House and the Santa Maria delle Grazie Church. Milan's giant cathedral is one of the largest Gothic churches in the world at 157 metres long. The Castello Sforzesco is a Renaissance palace which combines a forbidding exterior with a delightful interior. The Neo-Classical opera house, known popularly as “La Scala”, opened in 1778 and is now one of the most prestigious opera houses in the world. The Santa Maria Delle Grazie Church, a beautiful 15th century Renaissance convent is famous all over the world for the Cenacolo (Last Supper) by Leonardo da Vinci. Day 3: Milan

Milan is world famous for its shopping! Begin your shopping discovery in the heart of the luxury shopping area in Milan: Via Montenapoleone, Via della Spiga and Via Sant'Andrea, elegant streets that together with Via Manzoni, Via Borgospesso and Via Santo Spirito are the outer limits of the famous Fashion Quadrilatero. This area contains the most prestigious boutiques and showrooms in the world, full of minimalist design and high tech.

Day 4: Milan - Como

Enjoy a private transfer from Milan to Como. Journey will take approximately an hour. 

Meet your guide at the hotel for a transfer to Tremezzo with a private vehicle and driver. Visit to Villa Carlotta, built at the end of XVII century by the Milanese marquis Giorgio Clerici in a natural basin between lake and mountains, facing the dolomite Grignas and the peninsula of Bellagio and surrounded by over 70.000 square meters of botanic gardens. Then drive back to Como, with short stops on the way during which the guide will provide you with some general information about the surroundings. Time at leisure for lunch (not included) or other individual activities such shopping. Continue your day with a drive to Bellagio, guided visit to Villa Melzi d’Eril, built between 1808 and 1810 for Francesco Melzi d`Eril, decorated and furnished by some of the most famous artists. Bellagio has been called the “pearl of Lake Como” situated on the tip of promontory at the end of the chain of mountains where the lakes bifurcates. Its superb location in between the two 'legs' of Como and Lecco and its mild climate year-round have enchanted the famous and the wealthy for centuries. Transfer by ferry boat (public service) from Bellagio to Tremezzo then to Como. Entrance fees to Villa Melzi D’eril & Villa Carlotta, ferry boat tickets (public service) are included.

Day 5: Como

Take in the scenery of Lake Como and explore the many quaint lakeside villages and towns as you explore by public boat.

You will be able to buy a day pass for between 1-8 trips, and these range from 5 euro up to 22 euro per person (payable locally).

Day 6: Como - Verona

Meet your driver for a private tranfer from Como to Verona.

Meet your guide today for this classic sightseeing tour, which unfolds through the streets and alleys of Verona. Experience Verona as it stood more than two thousand years ago, with buildings and monuments of various ages accumulated through the centuries: Romanesque churches, Gothic towers and castles, Renaissance palaces, squares, and elegant courtyards. Discover the landscape, the story, and the wines of Soave. Meet your driver and guide today to take you to the fascinating middle age village of Soave, 20 km from Verona. This half day tour includes a walk through the streets of Soave, a visit to the medieval Castle of Soave, and a visit, with wine-tasting session, selection of cold cuts and cheese in a local cellar. Day 8: Verona - Venice

Meet your driver for a private train station transfer.

Enjoy the direct train ride from Verona to Venice. The train ride is approximately 1 hr 10 mins.

Take a private water taxi transfer from your hotel to the train station and vice versa. The service includes full time assistance with meet and greet.  Your private motor launch will take you from the city terminal landing stage to the hotel or closest pier.

Sit back and relax on a marvellous and enchanting half an hour evening gondola ride through the Grand Canal and inner canals of Venice. You will breathe the atmosphere of this ancient city built on water. Start your journey at the 'Stazio Gondole Santa Maria del Giglio." Close to Saint Mark, right on the Grand Canal, in front of Guggenheim Collection palace and Santa Maria della Salute church, this gondola station is one of the oldest Gondola stops in Venice.

Day 9: Venice

Enjoy a 2-hour private walking tour of Venice with an English speaking local guide. Visit St. Mark's Square, the heart of political and religious power of the Venetian Republic for centuries.  You’ll learn the history that lies behind the walls of its most famous landmarks; the Basilica and its Byzantine heritage, the Doge's Palace and its adjoining prisons that retain the true secrets of how a city built on swamps became one of the most enlightened cities in the western world. Then, leave St. Mark's behind you to discover the enchanting Hidden Venice. Following a monumental route, your guide will narrate the in-depth history of Venice from its origins to the modern-day. You'll hear tales of illustrious Venetian characters like Marco Polo and Casanova. Other highlights include Marco Polo's House, a Merchants’ Warehouse, the lively Campo Santa Maria Formosa with its outstanding Venetian Palaces, the Church of San Giovanni e Paolo (the Pantheon of Venice), and at the Scuola di San Marco you'll learn about the famous Confraternities (Schools) of merchants and artisans that provided the foundations of the Venetian mercantile empire. Day 10: Venice

Board a water-based taxi for this transfer from your hotel to the airport. The arrangements for this transfer can be made by the hotel’s concierge. The total fare (to be paid on-site) is dependent on the location of your hotel and the amount of people being transferred.  Alternatively, your Sales Advisor can arrange a private transfer to the airport if you’d like.

  • Your deposit is due immediately on booking (30% of program price, minimum $350). The balance is due 90 days prior to departure.
  • Cancellations of confirmed bookings 90 days or more prior to departure will receive full refund minus a $350 (per person) administrative fee and any non-refundable paid fees (e.g. non-refundable airfare, cruise or hotel deposits). 60-89 days will be subject to loss of 30% of program price. 30-59 days will be subject to loss of 50% of program price. 29 days or less will be subject to loss of 100% of program price.
  • Tour quotes do not include airfare to/from the trip start point unless noted on the itinerary
  • Cost increases in currency exchange, government fees, taxes, surcharges or hotel/lodge tariff increases between quote date and start date are payable by the client.
  • Availability cannot be guaranteed until booked. We will exercise best efforts to book hotels per the itinerary, however, in busy seasons and with client bookings made within 90 days of tour date we may be forced to offer substitutes.

It was an incredible view from the Bellevue hotel in Dubrovnik and the Vestibule in Split was in the best possible location.     We just returned from a 10 day trip to Paris and Normandy. We spent three nights in Paris and then enjoyed a seven night cruise on the Seine to Normandy with AMA Waterways. The time in Paris was well spent and has piqued our interest to return for a more thorough visit. Guide Wafaa Lankey was superb in our visit to Versailles. The Seine cruise was relaxing and beautiful. So many wonderful little towns and we wished we had more time in each one to explore and enjoy.
