Situated along Hardanger Fjord, this waterfront hotel offers views of Folgefonna Glacier, indoor and outdoor pools, along with a private beach area. Wi-Fi access and private parking are both free. A minibar and flat-screen satellite TV are provided in each Hotel Ullensvang room. Some include a balcony and a view over the fjord. On-site facilities include a fitness centre, hot tub, indoor tennis court, as well as a children's playroom and bowling on request. Ullensvang Hotel also has row boats and a water trampoline. A buffet restaurant with bar is available year-round, while Restaurant Zanoni is open in the summer. During nice weather, drinks can be enjoyed on the fjord-view terrace.
The foundation of todays Hotel Ullensvang was established in 1846, when the 18 year old Hans Utne started to rent out rooms to travelers. His own straw bed in the attic of a boathouse, was the first accommodation available.
