The Thief (5*) is located between the iconic Astrup Fearnley Museum, the canals on Tjuvholmen, and the Oslofjord, with most of the 119 rooms offering brilliant views. There are five room categories at THE THIEF. Whether you choose THE OSLO SUITE – the top suite with a fantastic view from a private terrace – or one of Oslo´s most spacious standard rooms, comfort takes pride of place. All rooms have tailored solutions and original details, which create an intimate and personal atmosphere. THIEF Spa opens in January 2014; in the meantime they offer various in-room spa treatments.

International and Norwegian designers such as Antonio Citterio, Bruno Rainaldi, Tom Dixon, Anne Haavind, and StokkeAustad are behind the furniture and décor. The hotel’s own art curator has hand-picked art for every single room and suite from the THIEF ART collection.
Superior rooms measure 24-26 square metres on average. The rooms have king-size beds with double down quilts by Høie. On the balcony you can enjoy a cup of Nespresso coffee and the closeness of the sea.

Doors are always open at THE THIEF. You will be made very welcome, whether you want to read a book in the fireside lounge, meet for afternoon tea or enjoy a drink in Tjuvholmen’s only hotel bar. During the summer season drinks are served with a view from the roof terrace. Restaurant Fru K opened its doors on the hotels first floor in January 2013. Here, executive chef Kari Innerå composes innovative courses based on Norwegian food traditions and local ingredients – always with an International twist.
