Enjoy a private, guided tour of the Summer Palace and Park. The palace was the former residence of King Jan 2nd Sobierski, is often called "Little Versailles". Its magnificant interiors include furniture and china from the period of Sobieski's victory over the Turks at the gates of Vienna in the 17th century. The grounds consist of English park, and Italian Baroque garden and rode garden. Entrance fee is included.

The castle dates back to the 13th century, though it owes its current shape to the early Baroque period. Sigismund Tower, 60m tall and crowned with a high cupola, dominates over the façade. Krakow, A beautiful medieval city, draws its identity from the multicultural heritage: it is associated with the late John Paul 2nd, hosting Jewish music festival, and having a huge student population, making it a vibrant city all year round. The tour will start at the Market Square, one of the biggest in Europe, a reminder of the power and wealth of medieval Krakow. The 13th century Cloth hall, rebuilt in Renaissance style, houses collection of Polish paintings and handicrafts. Saint Mary's Basilica, dating 1221, boasts a 15th century precious altar. Collegium Maius with Gothic arcades, expanded in Renaissance style, was home to Jagiellonian University, the second oldest university in Central Europe. Visit Czartoryski Museum collection, which contains Da Vinci and Rembrandt paintings among others. Continue to Wawel Hill. This Gothic Royal Castle was built on the remains of a 10th century settlement. Magnificent Renaissance interiors contain numerous paintings, furniture and national memorabilia. Collection of famous "Wawel Tapestries" designed and made in Flandre, especially for Wawel interiors, is truly unique. Famous Sigismund Chapel with gold-plated dome is one of them. Cathedral is also a necropolis of Polish Kings, Dukes and noble citizens, buried in numerous crypts, sarcophaguses, tombs and chapels. A walk down the river concludes the tour, and leads to a limestone cave, shelter of a legendary dragon. Entrance fee for Wawel Castle is included.

The tour of the Mine includes visit to the beautiful chapels sculpted in salt, spacious chambers, crystal grottoes and underground ponds, all at the average depth of 250 m below ground level.

VISA/PASSPORT
Poland is a party to the Schengen Agreement. As such, U.S. and Canadian citizens may enter for up to 90 days for tourist or business purposes without a visa. The passport should be valid for at least three months beyond the period of stay.
Citizens of other countries may require a visa. Please ask your Sales Advisor. These requirements change often and therefore it is best that you check with the Embassy of Poland for the most up to date visa information.

- Your deposit is due immediately on booking (30% of program price, minimum $350). The balance is due 90 days prior to departure.
- Cancellations of confirmed bookings 90 days or more prior to departure will receive full refund minus a $350 (per person) administrative fee and any non-refundable paid fees (e.g. non-refundable airfare, cruise or hotel deposits). 60-89 days will be subject to loss of 30% of program price. 30-59 days will be subject to loss of 50% of program price. 29 days or less will be subject to loss of 100% of program price.
- Tour quotes do not include airfare to/from the trip start point unless noted on the itinerary
- Cost increases in currency exchange, government fees, taxes, surcharges or hotel/lodge tariff increases between quote date and start date are payable by the client.
- Availability cannot be guaranteed until booked. We will exercise best efforts to book hotels per the itinerary, however, in busy seasons and with client bookings made within 90 days of tour date we may be forced to offer substitutes.
