Today you will take a visit to the Chernobyl Museum with your own private vehicle and English speaking guide. The museum chronicles was the biggest radioecological disaster to ever happen, which occurred at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Station in 1986. The bulk of this exhibition, including hundreds of photos and witnessed testimonials are shown through the medium of modern technical and audio/visual aids. Over seven thousand exhibits are on show in five different halls helping visitors understand what happened on that fateful day. Some of these exhibits contain items that originated within the power plant as well as items that came from people who died in the disaster. At the end of the tour you will be brought back to your hotel. Entrances fees are included.
Enjoy a half a day tour to the Ethnographic Museum located in the suburbs of the town of Pirogivo. Three hundred ancient rural huts collected from all over Ukraine can be seen in Pirogovo. The majority of them were moved to the museum and then reconstructed. Huts, wooden churches, water, wind mills, clothes, and kitchen utensils dating back to the period of the 17th century to beginning of the 20th century give a realistic impression of this era. During the tour you will gain a better knowledge of how local inhabitants lived in the past. Entrance fees are included.

The architectural ensemble of the convent was formed by the end of 17th century and till now remains one of the best in Russia. For several years, it was even used as a place of imprisonment for disgraced women from noble families. Visit the interesting cemetery, a charming sight, rich in the spirit of the past, hidden behind a wall in the Twentieth century inner city.
