Meet your guide and private vehicle for a half day tour around Petropavlovsk. Drive to the central part of city to the shore of Avachinskaya bay. Petropavlovsk grew up around the Avachinskaya Bay, with the Avacha and Koryaksky volcanoes brooding over the town. Follow the path up Nikolskaya Hill, where in 1854 the English-French landing was repulsed. From this vantage point, one has a beautiful view of the city and bay and can easily see why this hill was the focal point of the city's defense. The visit of the local museum and with it an insight of the history of Kamchatka and Petropavlovsk is highly recommended. The museum's displays are devoted to the history of the region, its flora and fauna, the native peoples of Kamchatka and their ancient culture. You will learn about the ancient tribes that lived on Kamchatka thousands of years ago and the discovery of this beautiful land by Russian explorers. Afterwards, take a short drive to the Observation platform on Petrovskaya Hill where you will have a spectacular view of Petropavlovsk and Avachinskaya Bay. In the end, your driver will bring you to the local fish market where you can browse and stroll away.

Meet your guide and vehicle for an excursion to the foot of Avacha Volcano. Drive to the foot of the Avacha volcano. Walk to the top of the Camel Mountain through the Avachinsky Pass, between Koraksky and Avacha volcanos. Difference in altitute is approx. 350m. Watch the Zhupanovsky, Vilyuchinsky, Dzenzur and an imposing Koryaksky volcano from the top of the Camel Mountain. If the weather permits you can observe Avacha Bay, Viluchinsky volcano and Mishennaya Hill from the peak of Mt. Camel. Walk back to the camp for lunch (not included). Return back to hotel.

"Itelmen" means "an inhabitant of dry land. The name was used for the first time by Russian researchers Kamchatka Steller G. and Krasheninikov around the late 1730's. Drive from Paratunka to the village of Razdolny, into Kaynaryn, itelment society. Learn about itelments customes, legends, and everyday life. At the end of the tour return to your hotel.

Meet your driver and vehicle for a drive to the sea port in Petropavlovsk for a sailing excursion to Starichkov Island and on towards "Three Brothers" rocks. In summer time the picturesque shores of the Starichkov Island attract a lot of tourists and divers. If you're lucky, besides the bird colonies, you will be able to see some sea mammals, including sea otters, seals, and even whales. On board the boat you will be offered lunch, traditional kamchatka ukha (fish-soup). Return to port and then to hotel.
