In true country house tradition, the dining room is at the heart of their home. The daily menus are designed around those guests who have made reservations in advance. There is a set four course menu each evening and guests are asked to meet in the drawing room at seven o’clock prior to being seated for dinner. All meals are prepared from the highest quality ingredients. Some are from their own garden or supplied courtesy of their chickens and ducks. Many others are supplied from within a 10-mile radius of the house, as freshness and seasonality are paramount. They are also able to provide luxury platters of fresh locally caught seafood and shellfish. There is also a delightful barbecue house for al fresco dining overlooking the bay.
Guests will enjoy the local activities including marine cruises to see whales, porpoise and seals. Other activities include sea angling and loch fishing, guided walks, and a nine hole links golf course overlooking the Isle of Skye. There are also gardens and arboretums, craft shops, museums, beaches, waterfalls, and a nearby perfume studio.
