Forss House is a delightful 1810 country house hotel set in 20 acres of woodland, below a waterfall, on a loop of the gently meandering River Forss. This relaxed family home was once owned by Major Radclyffe, a great adventurer, hunter and falconer of his time and you will find his mark in evidence throughout the house from the moment you arrive. The 14 hotel bedrooms have all been recently restored to their former glory and will give you a comfortable base for your adventures. At Forss House you will be welcomed by Anne and Kathy, aided and abetted by a small local team, who are always happy to offer advice on where to go and what to do.
