Bratislava is the capital of Slovakia and also the country's largest city. It is located in southwestern Slovakia on both banks of the Danube River and is the only world capital that borders two countries: Austria and Hungary. Bratislava is the political, cultural and economic center of Slovakia. Take a grand tour of the city highlighted by Primatial Palace. Enjoy your second day with a tour to the wine-lands at the foot of the Small Carpathians. Wine tasting and entrance to museum is included.
Enjoy a private airport transfer.
Directly on the bank of the River Danube and right in the historical centre of Bratislava you can find the Hotel Devin (4*) which has undoubtedly been part of the history of the capital city since 1954. Thanks to its significant architectural style the hotel is now deemed to be a jewel of functionalist style, however, the works of art of the most important Slovak artists can also be found here. The single and double rooms are equipped in a classical style and every room has everything you may need for your comfort - adjustable air-conditioning, TV set with wide selection of satellite programmes, internet connection and a mini-bar. Moreover, you may select from smoking and non-smoking rooms. Also, it is only up to you whether you want a view of the River Danube or Bratislava Castle and the city centre.
Discover Bratislava and its most famous attractions on a walking tour with a private English speaking guide explaining the city’s fascinating history and culture. Learn about the former Hungary Chamber, the historical Academia Istropolitana, and the glamour of the Old Town with Primatial Palace. You will also visit Michael's Gate, Franciscan Church, St. Martin's Cathedral, the Main Square, the Old Town Hall, the Slovak National Theatre, and Reduta. Entrance fees to the Primatial Palace and St. Martin's Cathedral are included.
Enjoy a full day private tour to the Small Carpathian Mountains, hiding the best known vineyards in Slovakia. While walking through the typical wine growing towns, to the Driny-cave or at the manufacturing plant of majolica-ceramics - you will virtually feel the colours of Slovak rural life. The biggest cellar-vaults in Central Europe as well as the unique strategic fortifications system will leave a permanent and unforgettable impression. The degustation of the most famous Slovak wines with the local vintner in a typical vintner-cellar will raise your mood and keep this excursion forever in your heart. Entrance fees to Red Stone Castle, Small Carpathians Museum, Museum of Naive Art in Pezinok, and wine tasting are included.

"People do not know what they are missing by not going to Romania. The landscape: beautiful, clean, untouched. The people: People exceeded friendly! Super safe. Wherever we went, we received the reception of "Welcome, welcome! You are our guest", by everyone. Food & Drink: Everything had such incredible flavor! They use only the freshest ingredients and everything is organic. Every meal was a new, exciting experience to our palettes. Architecture: The beauty, intricacy, history. One cannot help but appreciate the abundance of castles, churches and buildings boasting such incredible architecture. Experience Romania sooner than later! You’ll be so glad you did! Once again, Kensington Tours, and special thank you to Claudia.

Really made for a great journey every time. Each hotel was clean, upgraded and staffed with knowledgeable and friendly folks. Breakfasts were complete -- almost too much to eat. It will always be a wonderful memory thanks to Kensington Tours."

"Overall, our tour in Spain was very enjoyable, and well planned and executed. Our private tour of the Alhambra was excellent. Virginia, tour guide for royal palace ruins outside of Cordoba, was also excellent. In Seville, we went to the Flamenco Show/dinner, and the Flamenco was outstanding!"

"My husband and I took a 3 week vacation to southern Europe and North Africa and had a great time. All the guides were very knowledgeable and bend over backwards to accommodate us. The arrangement made by Kensington went off without a hitch. This is our second trip with Kensington (we went to Peru in 2009) and we will certainly book with them again."

"Thank you for your follow up, we both loved our time in Croatia. It’s really a beautiful place, especially the coast. Our time in Dubrovnik and Split were awesome, in hind sight we both wished we would have went back to Split from Plitvice Lakes rather than carry on to Zagreb. We both found Split much more appealing and would have definitely preferred to spend another night there rather than Zagreb. We’ll know for next time! Your choice of hotels was great. It was an incredible view from the Bellevue hotel in Dubrovnik and the Vestibule in Split was in the best possible location. We were able to relax in our room listening to the wonderful singers in the courtyard and its central location made it so easy to walk anywhere we wanted to see with ease. "
