Sometimes referred to as "Europe in miniature", this country is blessed with picturesque towns and cities, mountains, glacier lakes, famous caves and beaches which stretch across the border to Croatia, and a spectacular mixture of landscapes and contrasts. Enjoy a city tour of Ljubljana with outstanding architecture as well as Ljubljana's hilltop castle. Also explore the hilltop castle of Bled and continue with a visit to Postojna Cave, a rare beauty created over millions of years, carved, shaped and created by water, year after year. Visit Predjama Castle, situated in the mouth of a hillside cavern and hear the legend of the famous robber baron Erazem Lueger, a maverick knight who became Slovenia’s Robin Hood by stealing from the rich and giving to the poor. Our tour continues with a visit to Lipica Stud Farm with the famous Lipizzaner horses of the imperial Spanish Riding School from Vienna which have been bred here since 18th century and now perform equestrian events around the world. Leaving Slovenia we continue our trip to Zagreb, the capital of Croatia. The remains of this old medieval city are still well-preserved. Enjoy the beauty of Plitvice Lakes National Park, which sits between its sixteen lakes, inter-connected by a series of waterfalls, and set in deep woodland populated by deer, bears, wolves, boars and rare birds species.Continue your trip and discover Split, one the second largest cities in Croatia and one of the Adriatic's most fascinating ports. Your personal driver will transfer you to Dubrovnik. Visit the ancient walled city of Dubrovnik, one of the Adriatic's hottest new destinations. Explore Dubrovnik and surroundings and enjoy the luxury of a private tour.
