Meet your driver for a private airport transfer.
A welcome package with your vouchers, a city map, train tickets (if relevant) and any other touristic information that we deem you may find useful will be waiting for you upon your arrival at your first hotel on your trip.
Your private English-speaking guide will show you the central highlights of Barcelona. If you are interested in a certain era in history or have an interest in a particular artist, let your Sales consultant know in advance as we can tailor your tour. Roman, Gothic, Modern......Gaudi, Picasso, Miro.....or enjoy some culinary delights with a gastronomy tour.
Accommodation: Barcelona Center (4*) Opened in 2006 and set on a wide avenue just one kilometre from Las Ramblas’ streetlife and the Sagrada Familia Cathedral. Contemporary, air-conditioned guestrooms all include minibars, satellite television, and complimentary high-speed Internet. Guests of the Barcelona Center Hotel can relax on the hotel’s sun terrace, head for a sauna or workout at the onsite fitness centre.

Park Güell is a garden complex with architectural elements situated on the hill of El Carmel in the Gràcia district of Barcelona and a must-see for every visitor to Barcelona. It was designed by famous architect Antoni Gaudí and built in the years 1900 to 1914. It is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site "Works of Antoni Gaudí". The park is open daily from 10:00AM, but closing times vary depending on the time of year (normally around 9PM). Admission is free.
How to reach Park Guell:
Metro stop "Lesseps" (Green Line, L3) On leaving the metro follow the street signposts for the park.
Due to park Guell's location and size, we recommend you schedule at least half a day for a visit.
A unique opportunity to find off-the-beaten track Tapas bars with your private English-speaking guide. Enjoy a wander through the back alleys and discover a hidden side of Barcelona. You will explore the Eixample district known as the Quadrat d'Or, or Golden Square, where you’ll find some of the best samples of Modernism Architecture. "Holy Toledo" isn't just an expression! A unique and richly diverse city, Toledo features Arab, Jewish, Christian, and even Roman and Visigothic elements. A beloved national landmark, the Toledo that so inspired El Greco in the 16th century has remained relatively unchanged since his time. Old churches and houses fill the city, where you can still stroll through streets barely wide enough for a man and his donkey, let alone an automobile. (No entrance fees included.)

Day 6: Lisbon
A private guide and driver will escort you on your full day guided tour along the coast of the Lisbon District. Your first stop will be in Sintra, a World Heritage site known as "Lord Byron's Glorious Eden". Sintra was used as a retreat by the Romans, the Moors and the Portuguese Kings due to its location, beauty, wooden ravines and fresh water springs. Next you will visit Cabo da Roca, the most western point in all of continental Europe. On your way back, you will discover Cascais, famed for being a resort area for Portugal's royal family in the late 19th and early 20th century. Finally, you will stop in Estoril, a seaside resort and tourist destination. At the end of the day you will be transfered back to your hotel. No entrance fees included.

Batalha Monastery
Day 7: Lisbon
A private guide and vehicle will pick you up at your hotel and escort you on a full day tour of Obidos, Nazare, Batalha and Fatima. Your first destination of the day will be Fatima, an important point of pilgrimage for the Roman Catholic religion due to the vision of the Virgin Mary by three young children in 1917. Every year, thousands of pilgrims make their way from all over the world to celebrate this occasion. On your way back you will visit Nazaré, the most typical fisherman village in Portugal. You will then continue and make a stop to admire the Monastery of the Dominicans of Batalha (a UNESCO World Heritage Site). Your final stop will be Óbidos. Completely enclosed by lofty medieval walls, this is a small town with whitewashed houses brightened up by colourful bougainvilleas. Your day will come to and end with a transfer back to your hotel. - Your deposit is due immediately on booking (30% of program price, minimum $350). The balance is due 90 days prior to departure.
- Cancellations of confirmed bookings 90 days or more prior to departure will receive full refund minus a $350 (per person) administrative fee and any non-refundable paid fees (e.g. non-refundable airfare, cruise or hotel deposits). 60-89 days will be subject to loss of 30% of program price. 30-59 days will be subject to loss of 50% of program price. 29 days or less will be subject to loss of 100% of program price.
- Tour quotes do not include airfare to/from the trip start point unless noted on the itinerary
- Cost increases in currency exchange, government fees, taxes, surcharges or hotel/lodge tariff increases between quote date and start date are payable by the client.
- Availability cannot be guaranteed until booked. We will exercise best efforts to book hotels per the itinerary, however, in busy seasons and with client bookings made within 90 days of tour date we may be forced to offer substitutes.
