The quite delightful Llanwenarth Hotel dates back to the 16th century. Located in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park, it is perched high on the banks of the River Usk, offering unrivalled views across the river towards the peaks.

Abergavenny is an ancient market town overlooking the River Usk and surrounded by mountains, the most famous of which are the Sugar Loaf, Blorenge and Skirrid. The Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons are on its doorstep You will find the area an excellent base for activities such as walking, fishing, golf and horseriding, and for the more adventurous, caving, rock climing, quad biking, kayaking and mountain biking.
Crickhowell, the charming small market town is a friendly community offering the visitor specialist individual shops.
