Thousands of beluga whales descend upon Churchill, Manitoba, every summer. This Beluga Whale small group tour through Churchill is the perfect way to experience these amazing creatures. You’ll have opportunities to swim and kayak among the beluga whales with an experienced guide to take you to where they congregate. You will rendezvous with the whales on the Churchill River and into the Hudson Bay as they feed on schools of capelin, arctic char, brook trout and cisco white fish. You’ll also experience other tundra wildlife attractions such as birds, wild flowers, arctic hare, arctic foxes and the northern lights. A Cultural and Heritage Tour takes you to historic Cape Merry, where the Churchill River spills into the bay, and several short hikes along the coastline. Visit the historic stone Prince of Wales Fort, built in the 1700s, and see the polar bear jail where polar bears who wander into town are incarcerated. An all-around experience of the magnificent Churchill summer.

Day 1: Toronto
Meet your driver for a private airport transfer with vehicle and driver.

Spend the day visiting 4 favourite wineries in the area, enjoying wine tastings, at all four and a more in depth behind the barrel tour to see the wine making process from vine to barrel to your glass. Then lunch at a renowned local restaurant in the middle of Old Town Niagara on the Lake. You will have time to stroll and explore. Discover the history and rich culture of the Old Town of Niagara on the lake, and admire the mansions along Lake Ontario and along the beautiful Niagara Parkway. This tour will take you to historic Cape Merry, where the Churchill River spills into the bay, and several sites and short hikes along the coastline. It has a wealth of history and natural beauty you won't want to miss. You will visit the Polar Bear Jail where polar bears who get too close to town are kept before their release.

Trip Terms & Conditions
- Your deposit is due immediately on booking (30% of program price, minimum $500). The balance is due 90 days prior to departure.
- Cancellations of confirmed bookings 91 days or more prior to departure will receive full refund minus a $500 (per person) administrative fee and any non-refundable paid fees (e.g. non-refundable airfare, cruise or hotel deposits). 61-90 days will be subject to loss of 60% of program price. 31-60 days will be subject to loss of 85% of program price. 30 days or less will be subject to loss of 100% of program price.
- Tour quotes do not include airfare to/from the trip start point unless noted on the itinerary
- Cost increases in currency exchange, government fees, taxes, surcharges or hotel/lodge tariff increases between quote date and start date are payable by the client.
- Availability cannot be guaranteed until booked. We will exercise best efforts to book hotels per the itinerary, however, in busy seasons and with client bookings made within 90 days of tour date we may be forced to offer substitutes.
