Originally built in 1850, this 11-acre Nova Scotia vacation resort sits on the shores of Cape Breton's glorious Bras d'Or Lakes, and offers a breathtaking view, beautiful landscape and a variety of accommodations, including cottages. Bask in the sun on the expansive waterfront boardwalk, spend a day at the spa or relax by the indoor pool.
The Inverary Resort is located in the heart of Baddeck, just off the Trans Canadian Highway. It is situated along the waterfront boardwalk, close to a variety of activities, restaurants, hiking trails and entertainment.
The traditional room is a standard room located in various buildings on the 11-acre property. They have two double beds and a full bath. Guests can stay in Glasgow House, a two storey building where the indoor pool, fitness room, and sauna are located or in the Argyle Building, Campbell Hall, Colloden or Wagon House.
The efficiency units are cottages scattered throughout the centre grounds of the property. They have a deck with a propane barbeque and a full kitchen complete with cooking necessities. There are one or two bedroom units with one or two double beds in each room. They are a great home away from home and are very popular for extended stays. All rooms have a coffee maker, fridge, stove, and microwave
Lakeside Restaurant offers a casual and fun atmosphere right on the shores of the Bras d’Or Lakes. Guests can enjoy lunch or dinner inside or out on the expansive deck and gaze at the sail boats and kayakers on the water.
The Inverary Resort has its own private beach along with an indoor pool, health club, spa and sauna. There are boating, hiking and golfing options near by.
