As a civilized outpost amidst the southwest reaches of Atlantic Canada's largest wilderness, surrounded by pristine Acadian forest and rivers, guests at Trout Point benefit from a complete, yet subtle therapeutic stay experience. From the mineral water freely flowing from the taps, to the quality air and absence of night-time light pollution, from forest bathing to soaks in the healing tannic waters of the Tusket River, you will find yourself renewed by the experience.
Each stay can be complimented by guided and unguided soft adventures including kayaking, hiking, fishing, star gazing-as well as sauna, hot tub, and in-room massage. Positioned so that every room boasts water views, Trout Point encourages you to unwind and forget the cares of the outside world. The enchanting location and spacious accommodations make for a most relaxing Nova Scotian vacation.
Surrounded by water on three sides, the Great Lodge houses superb guest rooms, all extremely well appointed and all with water views: the ample Granite Suite with its air-jet tub, 2 Fireplace Junior Suites, the Acadian Junior Suite with a dovetailed bay window, and 4 Deluxe Junior Suites (which include the Treehouse, Wildwood, and Burlwood rooms).

Trout Point Lodge's kitchen deftly brings to fruition savoury creations by drawing from traditional cooking techniques combined with fresh local ingredients. Fare intertwines wild mushrooms and plants, produce from local growers as well as the on-site gardens, and the ethical selection of the North Atlantic's freshest seafood to create a unique and unforgettable dining experience in daily-changing prix-fixe menus. Trout Point cuisine reflects place and time without undue emphasis on food styling. The art is in the preparation of the food, with flavour given top priority. Chef-proprietors Vaughn Perret and Charles Leary started as some of Louisiana's first organic farmers, and draw inspiration from substantial time living in places as diverse as Rome, Granada, Central America, and China. They are the only members of Relais and Chateaux in Nova Scotia, a family of hoteliers and Grands Chefs known all over the world for their commitment to excellence.
