Every room incorporates Feng Shui design and has a natural gemstone fountain at its center. The floor-to-ceiling windows looking out over the lake or city tend to help you feel harmonious, too. Eight Wine Bar & Restaurant is a Toronto hot-spot. They're rightfully proud of their boutique wine-list full of labels and vintages you haven't tried yet, but probably should. From the handpicked street address and the number of swinging doors on each floor to the quantity of live bamboo plants in each room and the amount of gemstone amenities, the design of the hotel was crafted utilizing the number eight, chosen for its esoteric energy qualities and seen repeatedly throughout the building. At the energy-centre of each suite is a natural gemstone fountain created by Noble. Fully 7 ft. tall, the fountain’s slate coloured bamboo intertwined with cherry wood radiates around a crescendo of new jade with water softly cascading down the sides into the bed of the fountain, creating a soothing centerpiece for open-eye meditation as the light from the fountain dances on the ceiling.
