The Denali Grizzly Bear Resort (2*) is pioneer family owned and operated since 1968. The property is located on the Nenana River across from the southern boundary of Denali National Park. This friendly resort has much to offer the Denali National Park visitor. Located approx. 6 miles south of the Park Road, this resort offers a variety of comfortable cabin accommodations with Alaskan atmosphere. The resort is family owned and operated. Three Cedar Lodge buildings offer comfortable hotel style rooms, each with a view of the Nenana River. Nestled between trees and partly overlooking the river, cabin or cedar lodge guests will not be disturbed by the campground guests also on the premises.
The resort is a non-smoking property. Rooms: 20 Cabin accommodation with private bath and a total of 72 new hotel style rooms in Cedar buildings. Each room/cabin has a private deck, 2 double size beds, private bath, TV, wireless internet for additional fee, in-room coffee, hairdryer, and an alarm clock.
The Grizzly Bear Resort offers cedar hotel rooms and private individual cabins, located on the Nenana River. Every room has a private deck overlooking the river, with large glass sliding doors for access. Premium cabins and Cedar rooms include amenities such as in-room coffee, cable television, hair dryer, full bathroom, and alarm clocks.
There are several restaurants within a close drive to the property.
Amenities include general store, gifts, liquor, groceries, ice, guest laundry, and internet access.
