InterContinental Montelucia Resort & Spa
InterContinental Montelucia Resort & Spa opened in November 2008 as InterContinental Hotels & Resorts first U.S. resort. Featuring 253 guest rooms, 38 suites and 2 presidential suites, the resort is inspired by the rich history, whitewashed villages and sun drenched hills of Spain’s Andalusia region. Inspired by the whitewashed villages of Southern Spain, InterContinental Montelucia Resort & Spa is reminiscent of a village, with an arrival plaza similar to a town square, a sanctuary that is the spa, fountains and walkways as cobblestone-lined streets and alleys, and guest room buildings as homes, villas and inns.
Overview
This extraordinary community of resort, private villas, spa, pools and restaurants is reminiscent of a European town square with arching entryways, splashing fountains and floral walkways. The resort houses luxuriously-appointed guest rooms, the spacious two-story, 31,000 square foot Joya Spa, and a myriad wedding, event and meeting options – all nestled at the foot of picturesque Camelback Mountain.
