Day 1: Austin
Welcome to Austin!

Make your own way from the airport to your hotel. Optional private airport transfer can be arranged in advance if desired. Please speak to your Sales Advisor if you would like to add this into your itinerary.
The Renaissance Austin Hotel is nestled in the picturesque hills of Texas Hill Country, and is located 10 Miles from the downtown core (approx. 15 mins drive) and 24 miles from the Circuit of the Americas.
Take some time to explore Austin's lively downtown area. With so many great sites in the downtown core, we recommend a visit to the Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum, the Texas State Capitol and the Blanton Museum of Art. Alternatively, hop in a cab and head to the Art Deco Austin Museum of Art (AMOA) at Laguna Gloria, a waterfront art gallery with a rotating modern art collection. Stop on by the University of Texas' Harry Ransom Center to see their enormous collection of literary manuscripts. Its collection includes a copy of the Gutenberg Bible, the first book published with moveable type; a Shakespeare folio; a first edition of Alice in Wonderland; and a Ulysses proof with James Joyce’s notes written in the margin. The Mexic-Artre gallery exhibits works from South of the Border highlighting the influence great Mexican and Latin American artists have had on Art in the State. Art exhibited include work from José Clemente Orozcos and Rufino Tamayos.
You may like to indulge at one of the hotel’s three onsite restaurants specializing in savory local cuisine, or get in some work out time at the onsite pool and fitness center during your stay.

One of the most popular restaurants in the Austin Arboretum, Banderas offers a casual atmosphere and a creative Texas Style menu with savory cuisine influenced by Texas history: everything from Spanish, French, Mexican, Southern and American. Join the fun at the SteeRnorth - the Austin Arboretum hotel bar where a roll of the dice inspires the day's cocktail creation! The SteeRnorth is open for dinner daily. @ustinbytes is a new casual style, high-tech cybercafé with wireless service, gourmet coffees, specialty wines and beer, fresh-baked pastries, made-to-order pizzas and sandwiches as well as gourmet desserts.
Enjoy a welcome reception upon arrival this evening - meet up with fellow F1 fans and revel in the anticipation of the event! Choose from an open bar and sample plenty of tasty appetisers as you mingle.

Day 2: Austin
You'll have the option to eat at the on-site restaurant or grab something to go @ Austin Bytes cyber cafe today and for the next three mornings. (included).
Your 3 Day General Admission tickets are located at different positions around the track offering great views from grass berms* (for the uninitiated, berms* means a level space, shelf, or raised barrier separating two areas). Having a general admission ticket allows you to explore different views throughout the event.
All logistics are looked after for you with shared transportation from your hotel to the circuit in the morning and back to your hotel this evening after all of the action!
Staff will be on-site throughout the event and available to offer any assistance that you may need to ensure that you have the best possible time.
The excitement continues as you marvel at these high performance vehicles pushed to the limit by their experienced drivers during the day's 2nd stage of Practice Laps.

Similar to yesterday, all logistics are looked after for you with shared transportation from your hotel to the circuit in the morning and back to your hotel this evening after all of the action!
Enjoy your second day at the circuit today with your General Admission ticket.
The Last Practice Lap is set to take place this morning. Each team has this last lap to adjust their vehicles and strategies before the upcoming Qualifying Lap.
This Qualifying Run is a crucial moment for each driver and team. This set of laps will determine the team’s starting position for tomorrows Grand Prix.

Day 4: Austin
Your transportation needs are looked after for you again today with shared transportation from your hotel to the circuit in the morning and back to your hotel this evening.
Today is the final race day for the 2013 Austin Grand Prix and you will be right in the heart of the action. Your General Admission ticket alllows access to various parts of the circuit so you can wander around throughout the day to see the course from different vantage points.
Watch as world class drivers fly past you going upwards of 185 mph.

After the race hang out at the Track and see the Champagne presentation ceremony. If you're lucky you can get yourself into 'pole position' to have a taste of Mumm sprayed your way!
Enjoy dinner at Eddie V's Prime Seafood during your stay around the Austin Grand Prix! The restaurant was inspired from the great classic seafood restaurants of New Orleans, San Francisco and Boston and offers the freshest seafood and USDA prime, center-cut, steaks - aged for 28 days and broiled to perfection. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. Get in rhythm in the V-Lounge with dining and live music nightly.

You'll be given a gift certificate of $100 (per person) and can get to enjoy dinner on an individual (not a group) basis. Please let your Sales Advisor know if you have a prefereance for the night you would like to have dinner here and a reservation can be made accordingly.

Please note that transportation to and from the restaurant is not included as it is located a mere 500metres from the Renaissance Austin Hotel (a 1-2 minute drive or an easy stroll).
