As you ascend the spiral staircase to Mediterráneo you’ll be transported back to 1930s Buenos Aires. Subdued lighting and well-spaced tables create an intimate, classically elegant atmosphere for savouring fine Mediterranean cuisine. The chef uses savoury herbs, olive oil and sun-dried tomatoes to achieve the fresh, healthful tastes contemporary gourmands prefer. Terraza del Virrey invites you outdoors for light lunch fare, afternoon snacks or a casual dinner. Grilled items such as the Patagonian Lamb Chop and the Rib Eye are particularly popular, and the elaborate Sunday Brunch has become a Buenos Aires tradition. The winter garden has both enclosed and open-air dining areas so you can enjoy the great outdoors all year long. Buenos Aires’ elegant coffee shops were the inspiration for Café de Las Luces, a spacious bar serving a wide variety of coffees, cocktails and wines by the glass.
