Nibepo Aike

Estancia Nibepo Aike is located on the southern arm of Lago Argentino, on the Provincial highway Nr. 15, just 56 kms from the tourist town of El Calafate, within "The Glaciers" National Park, in utterly unspoilt countryside of incomporable natural beauty. A new concept in tourism, aimed at offering visitors the chance to visit a Patagonian Estancia, Nibepo Aike was established by an outstanding Croatian immingrant pioneer, Santiago Peso, who settled in this part at the beginning of the twentieth century. The Estancia's main house and buildings are of the typical Patagonian construction, restored and refurbished to make a country hostelry, offering a warm and comfortable welcome to the tourist, whilst preserving the original characteristics.
