Amauta hotel is located in the historic village of Purmamarca in the Jujuy province. According to the fact that “Quebrada of Humahuaca” is a Natural and Cultural Patrimony of Humanity, it’s their intention to preserve the traditional image of the village in every single detail. The front of the hotel is a reproduction of the traditional houses of Purmamarca. The building is made of adobe and stones, interior details have been exclusively built for the hotel by herders and carpenters of the region, prioritizing warmth and comfort with art and design.
The Amautas was a group of wise people of the great humility, whom they symbolized a link between the Sky and the Earth, tying all the beings without distinction of creeds, social chaste or race. With that spirit we have created La Hostería del Amauta, a place on the foot of the Cerro de los Siete Colores (Hill of the Seven Colours), where everyone can enjoy services of excellent quality in an architecture thought specifically so that the guest feels happy. La Hostería del Amauta has singles, doubles, triples and connecting rooms with whirlpool baths and baths specially prepared for handicapped people.
The Del Amauta HosterA-a is known for its collection of cutting edge technology, luxury and comfort. Nine individually designed bedrooms provide an excellent surrounding for relaxation and accomandation. One of the rooms is fully equipped to suit disable guests. The Hotel offers several activities ranging from trekking tours to excursions in the breathtaking area surrounding the place. If the guests are looking for a more relaxing way to spend their time a tea room is waiting for them at the hotel as well as a weaving and spinning room where guests can purchase handicrafts. Furthermore, an outdoor stone Jacuzzi and a massage therapist will help the guests to relax and flee from the daily routine. But in case a guest wants to keep track on daily life, internet is provided within the Hotel.
