Club Tapiz is located in an estate built in 1890 and surrounded by 10 hectares of vineyards. The house was restored preserving its Renaissance-style villa structure and maintaining vintage elements, such as the patio and pinewood floors. Club Tapiz has scenic surroundings with enthralling views of the Andean Range. The estate has been declared a part of "Historical, Architectural and Tourist Heritage" of the region. A few meters away from the house there is an old winery that produces artisan wines. Club Tapiz welcomes guests traveling on business or for pleasure. It offers a unique experience in an exclusive site amidst mountains and the taste of good wines.
Club Tapiz is located in this rich agricultural region, an easy twenty-minute drive from Mendoza City and just thirty minutes from Mendoza's International Airport. Decorated in minimalist style with exquisite taste and attention to detail, each guest room is accessed from a central courtyard. Each also has external views of the hotel grounds and vineyards with emerald green and sun-dried yellow Andes foothills with their blue-white peaks in the distance.

The Terruño Restaurant is one of the real delights of staying in Club Tapiz. Converted from the oldest part of the house, it has wonderfully high ceilings, bold paintings, and deep red walls creating a sense of intimacy; a dramatic setting for some really sophisticated food. The Mendoza region of Argentina produces excellent fruit and vegetables, as well as world class wines, and the Terruño chefs have devised some stunning meals to combine local ingredients, setting off those wines to perfection.
Tapiz offers far more extensive facilities than might be expected in such a small boutique hotel. Opening onto small manicured gardens and a stunning swimming pool are a lounge, reading room with library, bar, and games room. The complex also boasts an extensive wine cellar, games and reception areas, a private spa with whirlpool and sauna, business center, and excellent restaurant. Staffers are also able to organize a variety of additional activities including skiing, horse riding, trekking, rafting, paragliding and a full wine tour.
