The Estancia Rincon Chico, with its rich heritage and diverse natural wildlife, was founded by a French sheep farmer in the late 1800s. Today this traditional Estancia is owned by the fifth generation of the same family who are dedicated to the conservation and observation of the incredible wildlife in Peninsula Valdes, a remote, coastal region of Argentina. Waken by the song of the larks, discover the reddish shades at dust, enjoy the longest rainbow you have ever seen and a unique sky full of stars. The Rincón Chico ranch is located on the Patagonian Sea* coast, in the southeast corner of the Península Valdés –a declared “World Heritage Site” by UNESCO in 1999. The house has 8 comfortable double-rooms with a private bathroom each, 4 single rooms for Scientists and guides, a cozy drawing-room, and a dining-room furnished in a style that keeps to the family tradition. Stay here and you will feel that you have known the farmhouse for years.
The guest house has eight comfortable rooms with a private bathroom with bathtub in each, and can be assembled as needed to accommodate single parties. Includes breakfast, lunch and dinner.
All meals are served in the dining room, which is adjacent to the living room and is decorated with antique furniture that belonged to the family. The wine bar is located in the dining area.
You will have the opportunity to enjoy the natural beauty of the wilderness. Thousands of elephant seals have chosen these beaches to mate and have their offspring. They can be seen along this 15-kilometre beach all year round. While walking along the different pathways you will be able to film, take photographs and watch a wide variety of birds in their natural habitat. Alternate activities include: professional naturalist-guided tours, hiking, mountain biking and birdwatching.
