Solar do Rosário sits within the alluring town of Ouro Preto in south-east Brazil, which is famous for its magnificent colonial architecture. Its main house, dated from the 19th century, brings back memories and original beauties of a solid construction and from the golden times, with the heritage of the good hospitality of people from Minas Gerais. Wherever a guest may go around the hotel, the decor and architecture have varying degrees of traditional influence. The hotel has been totally restructured to comfortable accommodate 41 apartments. Out of those 41 apartments, there are 13 standard, 16 luxury, 8 master suites and 4 superior master suites. Each apartment has an amazing view of the churches of S. Fransico de Paulo, Nossa Senhora do Rosário, São José and of the Pico do Itacolomi. There is a restaurant that serves Brazilian and International cuisines. There are several leisure facilities guests may use in the hotel such swimming pools and a fitness center.

Senhora do Rosário's restaurant is a gastronomic reference among those who appreciate good food. Senhora do Rosário , guests can always count on lovely surprises. The spices and flavors of the food from Mina Gerais have not been forgotten and they either counterpoint them or complement the sophistication of its menu.
The Scottish-bar is a cozy, charming and very comfortable bar where guests can have a taste of the finest wine the hotel has and a spectacular view of the church of Nossa Senhora do Rosário. Or guests can also visit the wine cellar, which is located underground.
Guests can enjoy a swim in the swimming pool which has a whirlpool and a marvelous view or spend time in the fitness center.
